If I could give zero star I would. I have been to this bar multiple times before. I grew up here but moved to Florida two years ago. The bartender tonight denied me because my ID was from Florida. Didn’t know that you could only accept Illinois ID’s here. Bartender was very rude. I told her to call the cops if she thought it was fake. Never in my life will my family, friends, or myself go back there we are all ever upset. Shame on the bartender. P.S Blarney Stone, Flannery’s, and Clovers are much better bars to go too.

My wife & I had dinner here last night & was pleasantly surprised. Good was good for bar food. Onion rings were large & tasty, as was my Philly sandwich. My wife had the chicken breast & tots that was simply okay. But our wait staff was very attentive & actually convinced us to stay as we weren't certain at first. If we're looking for somewhere to go that's not far from home, we might consider it again.

The wings are always delicious, drinks are strong, service is impeccable. It doesn’t matter who is serving you, behind the bar or waitressing they all get there job done and do it well and with a smile. I’ve been coming here since they opened and it’s because of how wonderful this crew is, they’re truly like a family. (Some actually are!) I’ve always felt welcomed and comfortable in this establishment and Marko always slays in the kitchen!

If I could give a 10 star rating, I would. This spot is hands down the best dive bar around. The Busch lights are always ice cold and that smoke show of a bartender, Autumn, beats any schnazzy joint in the area!

Marcottes has always been a place to me to chill and grab a drink. Not much thought to it, but when I started attending to marcottes on Tuesday, I stay for the drinks, mild conversation and the best part is Elise! She can make a mad house and turn into a fine dining experience.

We love Tuesday nights with Elise. She is always so kind, attentive, and fun. The wings and mugs are great too. But she’s the reason we keep coming back!!
