This place was formerly Kusinag Pinoy but they closed and reopened under a new name recently.
Food was amazing. Don't remember the names but everything was delicious as I remember when I last came here about 9-10 years ago. The older gentleman serving the food was attentive and polite. It's 10.99 for a lunch combo; a generous portion of white rice, complimentary sour soup and your choice of two sides.
I was asking a few questions to the young man who handled my bill regarding the baked goods they had on top of the counter near the register. He didn't appear to be all that interested. Next time I'll ask the older gentleman when I come back.
I brought my friends from Chicago to eat here last monday(when they came to my place at short notice & no food at home)they were so impressed with how good the food was, how fun the staffs were including the owner. The food is Lutong bahay delicious(home cooked) I buy cooked food here most of the time, but dining in gave me a different feel, it is really a good, cozy , yummy & reasonable dine in Filipino food place. Kudos to the cook on Monday
