I love it! I first started out only going for the coffee drinks, then I branched out into lunch, and now have made it to happy hour….i highly recommend that chocolate raspberry martini, I almost want to lick the glass clean (ok who am I fooling, I have) 🤷🏻♀️. It’s a small place, they do have a back patio when the weather is nice.

I’ve been coming all summer as a therapist, I have sat and completed a lot of work and taken virtual calls here. The younger staff have always been really kind but the middle aged staff woman with short hair is not kind. I’ve never seen her smile, and the way she approaches and communicates with people about things comes off as very rude.
A few weeks ago I moved to the front outdoor location to take a call. The entire counter was very dirty (which happened again last week but I thought that’s how it always is so oh well).
I went to the bathroom and then moved to the back outdoor location and was followed by the middle aged female staff member and she sternly told me I couldn’t leave without paying. As I’ve never not paid, I told her I was moving to the back to take another call. I then proceeded to order another drink because I had been there for a while, and she almost didn’t let me order it. I really think she thought I wasn’t going to pay for my coffee, sandwich and other drink.
As I’ve gone back these past few weeks, I now always order at the counter and pay at the counter because that was so strange to me, and I want to feel as though I can move spots and go to the bathroom without being told I’m not going to pay.
Today, I was in the middle of working on my computer with my headphones in and an older man walked up very quickly to me, got very close and without saying excuse me, or tapping me on the shoulder for me to take my headphones out, he just said, “Put your shoes on” and then rushed away. Which I completely understand, but I had sandals on, and one leg was under my other leg, so I consciously did not want to get their furniture dirty with my sandal. There are also much kinder ways to say this to a customer. Tap me on the shoulder, as you see I’m working, and ask me to kindly put my shoes back on. It felt very rude.
I left immediately after and won’t be returning.
These 2 incidents left me feeling so weird also considering I’m there 1-2 times per week working.
I’ll be finding another coffee shop to work at. . . There are other coffee shops around that have friendly staff and clean tables and counters 100% of the time. I don’t want to feel on edge somewhere where I always go to do my work.
Update: The owners response shows how rude they truly are. I changed my rating to 1 star. I wish you all the best 😌

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype or the Price
We were really looking forward to returning to this spot, but unfortunately, it missed the mark on several levels.
I ordered the Dubai Chocolate Coffee (hot), and it was a major letdown. It had a strange, almost bitter aftertaste that lingered unpleasantly. The strawberry flavoring was even worse—artificial and oddly sour. Overall, it was not enjoyable and definitely overpriced.
The biggest issue by far was the Chicken and Waffles. It was obvious everything had been microwaved. The chicken tasted like it came straight from the freezer—rubbery and soggy. The waffle was just as bad: clearly frozen and heated poorly, leaving it limp and wet. The hot honey sauce was okay, but it couldn’t save the dish. Truly disappointing.
I had to order a second drink just to wash it all down and tried the Canadian Shirley Temple—a twist made with orange juice and ginger ale. It was fine, nothing special.
My husband got the cheese sandwich with bacon ($2 extra per slice), which he said was good. He also ordered the peach tea, which was practically flavorless. Not bad, but it didn’t taste like anything.
On the plus side, the atmosphere was decent, the tables were clean, and the bathroom was well-kept. But that’s where the positives end.
What really rubbed us the wrong way were the new signs asking solo guests to move if sitting at larger tables and enforcing a 90-minute limit unless you keep ordering. It just feels greedy. They’ve lost the charm that made the place special and now come off as more concerned with profit than hospitality.
At this point, you’re better off making lunch and coffee at home—or just heading to Starbucks. This place has gotten too big for its britches.
We spent over $50 and I had one glass of pop and one frozen waffle….
We played Singo the other night. It was a great time!

Best espresso martinis in Oak Lawn. Excellent service, adorable decor, perfect spot to sip on a delicious drink, eat a wonderful appetizer, and catch up with friends.

The place is very mid. The atmosphere doesn't know if it wants to be cozy or hip, paired with the fact that it's overcrowded. You constantly feel like you're bumping elbows and worried someone is goi g to run into your knees. The place has potential but it's definitely not living up to it so far.

Such a cute little space; nicely decorated and clean. The aroma of fresh coffee is very welcoming. Today was more of a tea day. Met up here with bestie after work.
My first choice menu item was not available so I went with a delicious second option. The toast was spread with fresh mashed avocado, crispy bacon, chopped egg and peppery arugula. It hit the spot.
This space makes really good drinks as shared by our happy table neighbors.
They also have special events monthly and table games.
Would love to visit again.

I ordered the bacon egg and egg sandwich.
The food was flavorful and hot. I prefer my food to be hot rather than warm or semi cold. The staff is very welcoming, and patience. I didn’t know what I wanted to order and she made some recommendations and was very attentive.

Everything I've had here is delicious but I especially like their corned beef sandwich. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Staff are friendly. I travel from Lockport to support this small family owned business...it's well worth the drive. See you soon Cork and

I love that this place doesn’t allow random strangers off the street to sit down and work on their computers without ordering. That creates a nice inviting vibe for people who want to patronize this establishment! 10/10 would recommend!
