I usually order the chicken pomodori and the tomato soup when I visit the restaurant. They're both really good. Today I didn't want to get out of bed so I ordered through Grubhub. The driver drove in a direction that passed my house and parked there for a while. I called him and he didn't answer. I text him and told him to answer his phone. He did and told me he was fixing his tire. What!? I don't know what exactly this man was doing with my food in his car. When I got my food, I noticed it was not secured, no sticker or staple. BEWARE!!!! Corner Bakery Cafe do not secure your food. That driver had access to my paninis and soups. I was afraid to eat the food especially after he abruptly ended our conversation. The way the world is today, shame on Corner Bakery Cafe for allowing strangers access to my meals. He could have spit in it, put his tongue and who knows what else in it. I worked it out with Grubhub and went to the restaurant to inquire about basically giving strangers open food to give to their paying customers. The manager, Kendra listened, was open and very receptive. I was giving three stars but because of her I'm giving four.

There was about 3 people in the store eating at 5:45 on a Tuesday. It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food. I think that’s a bit excessive.

Was craving pancakes and just so happened to be in the area.
Always a peaceful atmosphere with friendly staff. Ordered the pancake combo with bacon and eggs. No complaints, it was all good. Was hoping to add a little fizz to my order but the soda machine was broken. I opted for a lemonade instead.
The cashier was high energy, full of personality and even cracked a few jokes.

Only giving a review because the food was terrible and shortly after i got food poisoning! I got the avocado wrap and caramel latte . Eat here at your own risk. Customer service was terrible also!
The food ( CHOPPED SALAD/PASTA DISH) was delicious. The cashier was friendly and the place wasn’t looking too bad considering it WAS half empty in the restaurant. The restaurant however needs a slight or touch of remodeling. It looks a bit old in parts of the restaurant and the bathroom (KINDA CLEAN) looked like it was on its lasts leg.

Ordered brunch for my wedding party to get ready items were missing bc the DoorDash person didn’t care to look at receipt to check off the items but when I called the restaurant they told me they couldn’t deliver it if someone could come get it when I sent someone to go get it when they came back it was still wrong. At this point I don’t want to go back and forth with it I just wanted my refund where the manager at the moment related she didn’t know how to do a refund and will get back to me in a few hours mind you it’s my wedding day I don’t have time in a few hours to communicate with them. Thank you Anna (manager) who was able to help me with the refund and the polite conversation I had with her made me feel a lot better to still order and cater from this location. I’m upset with the door dasher employee that said it wasn’t her fault and I had to figure it out my self I wish I can give her zero stars for that individual.
