I found a neighborhood gem in Oaklawn.! I was at Demma's Bar & Grill to play free bingo on Monday at 6 pm. The people are kind. The environment is for individuals who want to have fun and be stimulated by activities that you can engage in, such as pool, darts, slots, machines for gaming, and last bingo on Mondays. I ordered the patty melt w chips. The cost was $8 plus tax. I paid with a debit card.. Fifteen minutes later, the food was brought to my table by the cook Sue. The patty melt was made with butter grilled, rye bread , grilled onio.ns , and cheese. The taste was amazing! It is a husband and wife, family owned business. It is more than just a bar. The owners give to its communities by having free food on holidays and Chicago Bears games . In addition, they help sponsor an event called Big Bikes for Little Tykes helping kids with cancer. Last, this place has annual food drives for local churches and food pantries. This friendly environment is a great place to visit . In conclusion, every Tuesday and Friday is a free poker network for free Texas holder torments . Everyone is welcome!

Local establishment that has a variety of adult beverages gaming is available the biggest plus is the every other Saturday server Geena is outstanding she's friendly considerate and willing to listen to my story when my wife passed away in early December she is the best

Decently priced drinks in a neighborhood bar. But.... decently busy Saturday night and only 1 bartender?........ 1 bartender? Had to get on somewhat of a waiting list every time we wanted another round. Lol. Bartender was amazing though. Was very thorough and on point. Made great drinks and kept her smile even seemingly overwhelmed. Locals dominate the jukebox and sing along. Lol. Paid for songs that never got played.
I went to check the place out for the first time, and this waitress who greeted us was so rude to us it was absolutely OBNOXIOUS! So instead I went to another bar and left the waitress there a much bigger tip for not being a rat.

If you’re a person of color, do not bother coming here. I am Mexican, my husband is black, & his friend is Mexican as well. All they did was ignore us. Did not bother to take our drink order. There’s other reviews that are very similar to mine. Racist bar. They might as well put a sign on their door that’s says “whites only”.
