My first visit...won't be my last! So glad I stumbled onto this restaurant as a newbe to Oak Lawn...delicious food! Friendly service!

I would love to take a moment and thank Frankie’s Beef Pasta & Catering, especially Vincenzo. Yesterday was a difficult day for my wife’s side of the family, we had just came home from laying her Grandmother to rest. There were no plans for anyone to have a little get together for a remembrance and at last minute me and my wife offered to host her cousins and anyone who wanted to come on over and just reflect, needless to say we didn’t expect for anyone to take us up on the offer and they did. Now that’s where Frankie’s Beef Pasta & Catering come in my wife called and at first was talking to a young lady we asked for trays of food for the same day she asked us to hold and then hung up!!!!! We thought maybe it was to short of a notice, after about 5 minutes my wife received a call from a person at the Catering place and it was Vincenzo asking why we hung up? We explained what happened and needless to say he went above and beyond we were able to get food for our family and it was great we had Beef, potatoes, salad and mostaccioli, it was delicious and everyone was happy and satisfied, thanks once again to all the wonderful employees who were involved in preparing my order I will be ordering from them in the future.

My family of four dined in here on a Wednesday evening (around 7pm). We had Chili, Grilled Chicken Pita with seasoned fries, Eggplant parmesan and a spaghetti dinner. The spaghetti came in a generous size and came with a side of salad and garlic bread. The chili was a little bland, but we added hot sauce and it made it a little better. The chicken pita was good and the seasoned fries were REALLY good. My husband enjoyed his eggplant parm and the side salad that came with the spaghetti. The service was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. For those that enjoy slots, there's a section with about 4 slot machines.

I ordered an Italian beef. The wait wasn't bad but the beef was. It was so bland. It had no flavor. And the price was more than portillos. I was better off going to portillos, at least it would've been good.

I stop in here from time to time to do a little gambling and grab a sandwich. So I'm playing the machines, I'm back-and-forth, winning and losing then I hit a bonus and Im up like $400. I redeem one ticket, get paid, put in the other ticket but no money comes out! I walk over to the counter and let one of the employees know what happened. We walk back over to the machines and he calls the video poker company. While we were waiting he offered me something to drink and introduced himself as Vince the owner of Frankies. Usually when there is this kind of problem the employees seem bothered having to help you, not Vince! He went above and beyond to help me get my money back! I guess everything happens for a reason because while I was waiting for them to sort out my ticket situation, I won another $800!! This is the kind of establishment I like to frequent, thank you to Vince and all the employees of Frankie's for making me feel welcomed...

Excellent breaded steak sammich ! Loaded with mozzarella, sweet peppers and ample sauce is the bomb. Italian steak sandwich also excellent.

the b**** at the counter stared at me for 10 minutes like she was helpless as I watched my food sit on the rack getting cold eventually just walked out

The gnocchi comes sunk in a sea of orange goo - which consists of bland sauce and huge hunks of melted cheese. The ratio is about 3 parts sauce to 2 parts gnocchi. The “pasta” itself is a tasteless, texture less ball of soft potato and flour. Throw in a full artichoke cut in half, toss that on top of the pile, and there u have it - the worst excuse for gnocchi I’ve ever experienced. The garlic bread was…bread. There was not even a hint of garlic or any other flavor for that matter. But there were some seasoning-related burn marks on the face of the bread so u could tell there was, at one time, SOMETHING on there. Either lost all taste in the freezer or the microwave. Purely disgusting and not even cheap. $16 for a bowl of orange vomit.

Great atmosphere, great prices, first time customer (next time I'm in Chicago, will definitely come back). Frankie's serves F*CKING AWESOME food!!!! My portion was so huge had to take the majority home!!!!

I was hoping they would be able to replace Duke's but boy was I let down. At $9 a sandwich, there was hardly any meat in the sandwich and it wasn't half as good as portillos or most places in the area. I'll keep searching or just make the long trip to Taylor street for patio. It's getting pretty sad on the south side when it comes to pizza and beefs.
