I’ve had their pork chops & potatoes, they were fantastic! I never ate here in person, a friend of mine got lunch for me. I’m a fan!

I have been a regular of Hog Wild Midlothian for many years. I just found out they closed. So we ventured to the Oak Lawn location today. The service was nice, but the grilled chicken sandwich (my favorite) was very disappointing. The sandwich was dry and nothing like what I'm use to. 🤢This might be a one time experience, but after spending over $45 dollars for 3 sandwiches, sorry I won't be going back. And I won't recommend this location.

Terrible. Good luck navigating the website to get delivery. I go to I-57 ribs. This place loses customers and will be out of business soon.
Garbage can got a $50 meal, everything was bad, the ribs r the worst I ever had, tried 1 bite of everything in the platter and it was all trash, glad they forgot my bbq sauce so I was able to taste how bad the meat is,, I hate to write a negative review but basically just a few bites and I am now sick from the food

Dined in yesterday, food was fresh and cooked perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and atmosphere comfortable. I will return very soon.

Have not been to the Oak Lawn location since it opened. I would always go to the Midlo one years ago so have not been in a while.
Fried Pickles were on point! Nice an hot an crispy. Then my main came out looks awesome right!? Food was room temp at best. Couldnt feel any warmth when you ate the loaf. Tatos were the same, corn.....the same. Gravy was hot. So i decided to send it back. Told them everything is basically room temp. They "Remade" it. Came back out with smaller portion of potatos and corn. New meatloaf was warm but not hot.
Was kinds bummed out about the situation cause i had a killer craving for Meatloaf. Overall flavor, meatloaf would have been great if it was atleast hot. Potatos ehhh, corn was good.
I just hope Midlo location isnt like this. They were on point all the time a while back.
Best barbque I have had in along time everything I have tried so far is amazing tried The Hossa this past time and it is my new favorite and highly recommended with those new sweet potato waffles fries and the cinnamon fluff that comes with it is out of this world

I have been patronizing Hog Wild for many years now at the Midlothian location. My family and I decided to visit the Oaklawn location since it's closer to home and the experience was by FAR THE WORST!!!!! Take note, yesterday we were the only black people patronizing. My mom and I ordered the steak special, the busboy gave us our food which usually at the Midlothian location they give us steak sauce, sour cream, etc. We asked if we could get another steak sauce as the steak was a nice size. The Busboy replied "maybe" he eventually came back and casually threw the steak sauce on the table. Towards the end of the meal my daughter started packing up her leftovers. The busboy loomed over the table as we were packing up leftovers. He kept watching us as if he thought we were going to steal something. My daughter had a Styrofoam container, the busboy came over to the table in a hurry and asked her what she was going to do with the container. My daughter replied, It's for bar b que sauce. The busboy........snatched the container from my daughter and told her no. She went to the cash register where they gave her two bar b que sauce containers. At this point I am angry; I asked one of the other employees to get the manager. The manager comes over. Now, while the manager is at the table the busboy is standing near staring at us. After explaining my experience to the manager, the manager says, "I will speak with him, he doesn't speak much English but I can speak Spanish fortunately." The MANAGER Then proceeds to point at the police dining in the restaurant and says "I thought you were calling me over because you were worried about those guys and maybe you had a warrant you were worried about." At this point I was boiling!!! As badly as I wanted to respond. I decided to leave and will never patronize this establishment again. I refuse to spend my money and endure blatant racism. I do plan to share this experience with as many people and social media outlets as I possibly can.

If we ran the cameras back anyone can see no one “took” your bar b que sauce! Your busboy was trolling our table!!!! You just openly admitted that your busboy was specifically watching us! There was only one person with ribs the rest of us had steak! Your busboy could have simply offered the takeout containers of bar b Que sauce which we were not offered! And here’s a fun fact for you! We are also law enforcement! If you would like we can come in full uniform with the press As we will take this a step further please make sure to share the footage where we are “taking your bar b que sauce” a simple apology could have resolved this issue but now I need to let people know! Your establishment is Not kind nor does it favor people of color! I wish I had captured this all on video!

Yesterday me and my family went out for Sunday dinner when we got there we were treated unfairly due to our race the sever was rude and disrespectful and the manger made racial comments and called the police I feel that people should be able to be free in this Society Without feeling uncomfortable and uneasy and be disrespected after paying my money for food
