Los Friends Mexican Restaurant

Los Friends came out and catered our Graduation party. The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly, clean and courteous. I highly recommend them for your next event or even if you just crave authentic Mexican food. They are definitely our favorite 😍!

Great food, great service and the restaurant is very clean.

When I go there to pick up an order , they don’t speak to me . Many times I go for uber eats orders they look at me as weird look .

We have had 3, maybe 4 parties catered at my work by Los Friends and everyone loved their food! We always get the steak and chicken tacos, beans and rice. I personally loved the chicken ones with the corn tortilla, cilantro and lime. Delicious! Meat was cooked thoroughly and toppings were fresh. Food is always delivered on time. I took home some leftovers and my family enjoyed them too. Looking forward to the next party!

I just saw on Facebook they serve a pregnant 🤰 lady raw chicken 🐔 minalesa de pollo raw and no full refund or an apology is WILD.

I am a mom and I would of also be concerned. Raw meat is danger for a pregnant woman. Pregnant or not serving raw chicken or any kind of food and not taking responsibility is time to call osha and an inspector.

I won't go here ever again that's gross and dangerous eating raw foods it can lead food poisoning I had food poisoning is not fun. Can send you to the E.R. avoid this place.

Didn’t even happen to me, but someone I know was sold raw chicken — completely unacceptable for any food spot. What makes it worse is how the owner, Selena, handled it. She has the worst attitude and zero sense of professionalism. No apology, no accountability, just straight-up hostility like she’s above criticism. You can tell she has no real training or understanding of how to run a legit business. If you care about quality food and respectful service, Los Friends ain’t

The audacity this place has to serve raw chicken to a pregnant woman is absurd. When addressed with the concern of serving raw food, instead of recognizing their mistake they doubled down and said they cant and wont do anything about it. Although an apology or refund would have been the least to have done. We will be reaching out to the Oak lawn health department as this is unacceptable. Please stay away unless you are willing to take the risk.

I would not eat here, they served my friend raw chicken and she is pregnant. After contacting them, they could care less and since we left an honest review they proceeded to not give a refund. Not getting a refund will not deter us from letting the community know what kind of health concerns we have on this establishment . The Oak lawn health department needs to visit them immediately, this is not acceptable.

Los Friends on 95th in Oak Lawn is a huge letdown. The food is below mid, overpriced, and definitely not worth what they charge. On top of that, they’re ridiculously petty — they charge you for a plastic fork, give you one tiny green sauce for four tacos, and act like they’re doing you a favor. The service is terrible — Selena is rude and only shows respect if you’re part of the Oak Lawn Police Department. Regular customers get brushed off like we don’t matter. I’ve lived here my whole life, and it’s honestly sad to see a place like this in the neighborhood. At this rate, they won’t last more than another two years. Oak Lawn deserves way better

My sister had a terrible experience here. They served her RAW chicken and she is pregnant!!! Disgusting stay away!! ❌❌❌

DO NOT GO TO LOS FRIENDS IN OAKLAWN FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY. I would like to preface this with saying that I am not ever a person to rate a business or complain online. Yesterday my family and I ordered from Los Friends restaurant in Oaklawn. It was our first time and we ordered $85 worth of food. When I got home I began eating my torta de Milanesa de pollo and noticed within a few bites that the chicken was chewy. I pulled apart the sandwich and found the chicken was COMPLETELY RAW. I immediately threw it out and my family was not able to eat their own food in disgust. I am also pregnant and now have to watch closely for signs of food poisoning which could result in an emergency ER visit. I called the restaurant immediately and they were closed. I called today and was met with the most unprofessional and unapologetic manager. They said when this happens (as if it happens often) all they could do is offer a $5 coupon for the next visit. After much argument, they offered to reimburse the Torta only but had much attitude. I refused to have to go in person to get a tiny refund when this was negligence and was not even met with any compassion. PLEASE see the picture below and please stay away from their business.

The food is salty beyond levels that it should be. Beans tastes like salt alone. The steak is not steak it's stew meat.
