Terrible service. Rude management. Ordered my food 1 hour ago. I called in for them to tell me that they just accepted my order.

Gorgeous staff….food was terrible. Wings overcooked and underseasoned. The garlic parmesan “rub” tasted like nothing, as well as the Thai chili…it tasted like maple syrup.

This was the third not-so-great Hooters location I went to while in the area. The food was average and the service was below average. My server kept hanging out with other servers at a table near the back of the restaurant. I tried to strike up a conversation with her a couple of times and she would give me one or two word answers and leave again. It's so strange that all 3 locations I went to in the Chicago area were bad because the locations in the Tampa Bay area owned by the same group are wonderful and awesome.

KALEY was extremely unprofessional. HORRIBLE customer service. Harassed and threatened me while i was having dinner with my children. The cashier that gave me my pick up order made an honest mistake and thought I had an online order didn't charge me. I was focused on her fixing a mistake with my order and I didn't realize that she didn't charge me. She was pleasant and helped me make sure I was able to carry everything out OK as I had a big order. It was honestly just an oversight on both our parts. I got home and was focusing on feeding my 3 young children. I got a call from a private number and then 2 calls from an unknown number without any voicemail. I finally had sat down to eat and I received another call. I answered it on my watch and it was a man saying it was hooters and explained that I didn't pay and that I need to return to pay the bill. I explained it was an honest mistake as the girl too forgot to charge me. I asked if I could pay over the phone because I was in the middle of eating with my kids. The man put me on the phone with Kaley who took my card number but said it didn't work after not even checking to make sure she took the number correctly and said I had to return by 9:30pm to pay (it was approximately 8:35pm at this point). I said I was still feeding my kids, but would eventually make it back tonight (they close at 11pm). She got very rude on the phone and said if I didn't make it back by 9:30pm she was calling the police to arrest me for theft. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I said I was coming back but it was not completely my fault as I tried paying over the phone and it was a mistake on the cashier as well. My husband couldn't believe how Kaley was speaking to me either. He told me to hang up as my kids could hear everything off my watch. Not even 15 mins later (8:45pm), as I was actually getting ready to return to the restaurant, I got another call. Again, it's Hooters with an Oak Lawn police officer (possibly the off duty cop on site?) on the phone double checking that I was going to return. He was nice and respectful on the phone, but explained that he called because he was told by Kaley that she heard someone yelling on my line and thought I was not going to come back. She wanted him to call me. I explained that I hung up on her because she was extremely rude and threatening me and that I was actually on my way to pay when he called. He thanked me for answering and told me no worries to take my time. My husband went with me to the restaurant and we asked to speak with the manager to explain how unbelievable the interaction with Kaley had been. We explained how she had harassed and threatened me after I explained I would return and was currently feeding my children. The manager L.B. was very apologetic for her behavior agreeing that it was a complete overreaction the way she handled the situation. I'm a regular customer for the last 13 years with large orders and have never had an issue like this before. My sons love hooters but this experience left a horrible impression on me with this location and we will not be returning. I appreciate the effort L.B. made though to apologize, but there is no way all of that happened without his knowledge. And if it did, because somehow Kaley is in some type of supervisory role? Wow. I would GREATLY reevaluate that role for her. That is no way to treat any customer. We had an issue with customer service at this location years ago and then started to travel to the Orland Park location, as a result. But we had been giving this location a try again with pick up orders. This was their 2nd chance and it was blown. Again, I do appreciate that the manager was very apologetic, but honestly, it was too little too late. I felt sick to my stomach from the whole interaction. Kaley should definitely not work in a customer service role at this time. She has a lot to learn about customer interactions. Her actions and tone with me displayed a great lack of professionalism and maturity.

1st. Time at this location! Granddaughter picked this location celebrating her Birthday party of 7. Made the required table reservation got there on time (April 7th) note had to make 2 separate reservations 15 minutes apart for 3 people and 4 for the other! Waitress came friendly took drink order served them then took food order literally waited an hour for food to be served each guest ordered ten wings each and fries one ordered onion rings and coleslaw One order of wings was the wrong flavor took back along with the onion rings that was served cold the wings that was brought back took another 20 minutes the onion rings 30 minutes upon me asking the waitress about them as well as did I mention the blue cheese I had ordered that took forever as well! Note again upon her bringing the onion rings at this point I sent them back! I got up from my seat and went and spoke to the manager to let her know about the wait for the food as well as the not so good service when I got the bill I handed the form or payment to the waitress when she returned with my card she didn't return it to me where I was sitting she placed it at the opposite end of the table where my guest was sitting ? the restaurant was not that crowded in my opinion the wings and shrimp was small in size not as good as other Hooters almost 4 got the burger was skimpy very thin and I never got the Cole slaw. Service was not attentive bill was $177 which should of been a lot better !

I've been coming to this location for years, before covid they were literally packed and had their shi.. together, after covid, they can have an almost empty place and still cannot get people served in a timely manner. They NEVER answer their phone, I've eaten in, ordered out, ordering out is the worse, food is always at least 15 minutes more than the time they tell you. I'm standing here right now as I'm typing this smh, why do I even bother coming at the time they say. Food is good, whenever I have the time, I'd rather go to the one in Orland Park or by LaGrangeUpdate: waited an extra 15 minutes and then I get home and my extra ranches I paid for are missing, constant issue as well ugh

Ordered takeout on Wednesday started getting sick that night until about Friday night, couldnt go to work Thursday or Friday you are very lucky my 9 month pregnant wife didn't eat what I ate. It could of been the coleslaw it could of been the weird tasting chicken or tater tots. Point is they don't care about the health of the customer. I would like a refund for this so called food and pay the days that I missed work. I still have a mild headache was barely able to eat something today without vomiting.

I ordered the Boneless Chicken and the wait time is UNBELIEVABLE! 1 FREAKING HOUR UNTIL OUR FOOD WAS READY! The food is good, the smell in the restaurant is even better with all of the foods being cooked. Overall, The rest is great.

Waited for over an hour for our food. I had to ask another waitress to locate our table waitress. She stated the order was coming up 3x. When it finally came, it was not hot as if it was sitting for a while. Salad was soggy and had more croutons than lettuce and meat in it. Manager did not come check on our table or order to make sure if we were ok. Terrible service.

It was my first time there on a Sunday and seemed like they lacked management and leadership which made the whole ordeal just not worth it ?
