We wanted to buy burgers that weren't from McDonald's, but it was the first and last time we came to this restaurant. We arrived and the person in front of us took the receipt from us. Then he kept walking around with our food because he didn't know which car it belonged to. When she finally gave us our order, she repeated it while looking inside the bag, when we got home, literally our burgers and fries were cold and missing orders, we had to go back a second time because nobody answers the phone to fix their own mistakes 🙄🙄. I would think twice before going back

Hot dogs are always barely warm instead of hot even when you ask for it to be hot not warm because once they put the cold garnish and condiments then the hot dog is barely warm

Came in for quick burger. Food was excellent as always but dining room was dirty. Did not receive the Portillos experience. Food call was just a standard number call. Ketchup pumps were closed, etc. Mediocre management on this day. Portillos prices. Expect Portillos experience. Did not receive today. Normally a very good location.

Portillo's: Chicago Classics Done Right ★★★★☆ Portillo's is a Chicago institution for a reason! Their Italian beef is amazing - thinly sliced, flavorful, and perfectly dipped. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just the way I like it. Can't go wrong with their crinkle-cut fries either. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the wait times can be long. But hey, that's how you know it's good, right? The onion rings were crispy. I also ordered the cake shake, the spicy lemon cake shake. It was okay but the first time I got it it was pretty good. Other than that, my visit here was awesome.
