This will hopefully be the 1st and last time I will dine here and I would not recommend this location either. I reserved this location to celebrate my grandmothers birthday and majority of my party was present at the reservation time. My aunt went inside and inquired of the seating since we were waiting for the additional folks and my great aunt was in a walker with a broken ankle. Upon speaking with the hostess she stated half parties will not be seated until everyone arrived. Once I arrived shortly after the reservation time I spoke with the hostess and informed her of my reservation and she stated that our table was given away due to everyone not being present and that they do not hold tables or reservations after the set time. She then proceeded to take others without reservations and others with reservations stating she only has 1 waiter at the time and it might be a long wait. Despite this we stayed at the request of my grandmother. As we waited the hostess stated to folks that they did not hold reservations and that when you arrive she will check you in but nothing more with reservations and that they do not hold tables either. Overall, we could understand the entire party being present prior to seating however, it is posted in the resturant at the entrance that “majority of the party must be present to be seated”- Which 5 of 9 is the majority. This is where my issue is. The policy posted does not match what we were being informed and others were given our reserved seating. I mean did the policy change the day of because they only had 1 waiter? Im not sure of what communications occur or systems in place between Open Table and Red Lobster but with this I will not be returning. Lastly- we had an AMAZING waiter. Mrs.Sheryl was very nice, took her time and explained the menu when needed, communicated about any delays and everything so we definitely appreciated this. Otherwise the front hostess was should not be at the front.

Lemon Mahi was good. Grilled shrimp skewer was also good. Biscuits were very good as usual. Service was a bit slow. Seemed to not have enough help and they were overwhelmed. Our server, however, was quite congenial and did the best she could. Keep us posted as we waited.

My family and I have been going here for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. From the food to the servers, we are always greeted at the door and given the best service. Mary & Camilla are two of the best servers at the Oak Lawn location, make sure to ask for them. Family friendly and a great atmosphere to have a nice lunch/dinner. 10/10 recommend
