The food is really good at this restaurant, but the service is very inconsistent. Normally when you spend so much money at the restaurant you receive a free egg roll. We have been here several times and it's always a different rule. It's quite frustrating to be honest.

Have ordered Bar-be que pork(appetizer) at least three times from this restaurant. The pork is old pork meat and you can tell by the taste. I have enough eating experience to know the difference. Terrible!

Ordered on-line, so I guess we avoided the rude lady on the phone. Ordering process was adequate. Our order was ready on time and was hot when we got it home, unfortunately, those were the only positives. Most of the food was standard to substandard: egg rolls were crunchy on the outside but filling was mushy (would have no idea what the ingredients were), chop suey was horrible (it tasted like it had been around for a while-wouldn't even eat it), fried rice was palatable but nothing special, sesame chicken was just okay broccoli was horribly overcooked. Also, not a big fan of the Styrofoam packaging but maybe that's why it stayed hot. Sorry Ruan, we are looking for a new go-to Chinese take out and we wanted to like you but we won't return.

Very very tasty orange chicken. We've been using this take out since changing from a different place at 103rd and Central. Orange chicken has never been over cooked and is delicious consistently. The pepper steak was also tasty but had way too many onions and peppers and a little skimpy on the steak, but it was good. My daughters love the pot stickers, and pretty much everything we've ever ordered has ranged from good to great. They are quick....if calling for pick up and your told 20 minutes, be there in 15.

Ruans is carry out or delivery only. There is a small table and they sell soda if you wanted to eat there, but it's not really a restaurant. I've been going there for over 20 years. Same owners except now their little girl is all grown up and working there too. Very clean. We have always have had very good food.We like the Chef's Special Egg Foo Young, egg rolls, beef with peapod, shrimp with lobster sauce, kung pao chicken (spicy) and moo shoo pork.The lemon chicken is also good and you get a lot of fresh broccoli. Sauce is on the side so this is good for kids because it's breaded chicken.The lunch or dinner specials are a very generous portion with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. Or they have small or large sizes with white rice. We usually get a few of both and have plenty for two meals.Super fast delivery through them rather than outside delivery services. A favorite!
