On a chance visit whilst getting my windshield replaced at Safelite Don't ever go to the one in oak Lawn..... We found this wonderful tiny little quaint bakery that had gluten-free cupcakes and cookies and granola. The girl behind that counter was fantastic and very sweet she changed the decorations on the cupcakes so that I could provide them to my girlfriend for her mother's birthday. The owner and back was also helpful in trying to find us other things that we might need that they did not have. I recommend a call they do orders pickups large orders and during season they do gluten-free pies give them a call stop waiting stop trying to search for it You know where it's at do it it's a great place

My husband and I had the most adorable and delicious wedding cake thanks to Simply Sweet! We also ordered a variety of GF and non GF cupcakes and cookies for our dessert table.
I am severely allergic to nuts, and many of our friends/family are allergic to nuts and/or gluten, so it was amazing to work with a bakery that could accommodate us (and offer us so many flavor options while still being allergy friendly!) We received tons of compliments from our guests and will gladly order from Simply Sweet again!

Amazing cake and flavor! The cake was so good and traveled well. The icing was a super rich buttercream that is sooo good, not too sweet but sweet enough just perfect. The fondant was not only pretty, it was also delicious! Will definitely be getting another cake from here again in the future!

We had mini cupcakes, cake pops, frosted cookies and chocolate chip cookies along with a heart shaped wedding cake. Our guests devoured all of the treats and raved about how delicious they were! I’ve used this bakery for the past three years for my kid’s class. The owner is always kind, always courteous, and always on time and responsive. I’ve loved every cake, cupcake, and cookie she has made for us and so have all of the kids who have allergies in our friend group. I’m able to accommodate the kids and also give my kid who has no allergies a cake as well. The designs are always exactly what I ask for and exceptional. Will continue to use this bakery for years to come.

My 1st time experience at this bakery was extremely unpleasant. I came to the bakery Friday morning after 8am. Strike 1: The lady who was behind the counter wasn’t pleasant at all. She had a fake smile as if she wanted to ask me “why r u here” …#IYKYK. I kinda brushed it off & said to myself, maybe I’m tripping, maybe it’s too early in the morning & she’s having a bad start. Strike 2: I asked what were the popular cupcakes & she wasn’t helpful at all. I actually had to pick them out myself. I got a variety of 4 cupcakes. She placed them in a container & payment was made. Strike 3: I literally had to ask for a bag , I ddnt want to carry a container of cupcakes. I would have thought a bag came with the container or even ask a customer would they like a bag instead of walking out with a container, but her expression on her face actually said it all. She was acting irritated. Again, the look on her face said it very clearly. #IYKYK Strike 4: I had a banana in my hand & I politely asked if there was a trash can that I can dispose my banana. She actually told me that this is a bakery & they don’t provide trash cans. At this time, I became offended. I asked her what if I wanted to eat a cupcake inside, where would I discard the cupcake wrapper, or if I had a cake pop that I ate, where will I discard the stick or if I had a drink with a straw, where would I discard the wrapper. She looked at me dead in my face & said “PEOPLE DONT COME TO A BAKERY WITH OUTSIDE FOOD”. I explained as a customer who just patronized this establishment, it’s good to recv constructive criticism and if she can’t, she shouldn’t have a business that is required to engage with their customers. This is a place that I would never go back to & I would let everyone that I know abt my horrible experience. P.S. there is a excellent bakery in the Beverly area that I would strongly recommend called “The Drip Bakery by Chef Ced @ 1844 W 95th St

During Valentine’s Day week, I stopped by and bought the cutest sugar cookies, red velvet cupcake (my favorite), and chocolate covered strawberries (which are very hard to find vegan). I also saw the prettiest miniature heart shaped cake. Please visit!
