Never have had a bad experience with Sushi Thaime! Food is always great, and the fried rice is exploding out of the box each and every time we order it. And when you ask for it to be spicy, be ready its going to be spicy!

Our server never made eye contact with us, until it came to put the cash out for the bill. Also, never came to the table to check to see if everything was alright. Very disappointed! I was there today at 1-2 in the afternoon. 09/23/25 sat by the window.

This place has been miss after miss. I’ve been a few times thinking that maybe they were having an off day but each time I’ve been the food doesn’t taste good, all very bland or off putting flavors. I’ve tried many different items on the menu: orange chicken, sesame chicken, golden nugget maki roll, pad thai, egg rolls, spicy crab, etc. Pad Thai tasted off to say the least and nothing like I’ve tried before, orange chicken sauce tasted like burnt or used oil. I was hoping this place would be a go to spot since I live so close but I just think it’s a miss.

Our first time here is tonight. I had the beef soup and he had chicken with rice. Very tasty. Even the egg rolls were so much better than other local restaurants. Music was not too loud. Lighting for the restaurant and bar was good. Layout of the restaurant overall is nice. Parking in back is good too. Staff was friendly and nice. Overall very nice local restaurant.

My friend and I came in this evening, admittedly late, to see if we could order food to go. The hostess greated us and immediately said that they couldn't seat anyone because they would be closing at 10:30. I told her we were hoping to order to go if that was an option and she handed us a menu so we could. She was very bubbly and had a very warm and inviting personality. We asked a few questions about different things on the menu and she was very helpful and making small talk with us as we tried to decide between our final dish when her manager came around the corner. The manager asked her what she was doing. (But not in a way where you're actually asking, but more so condescending.) She quickly explained that we weren't planning to dine in but were ordering to go. The manager then said are you cooking the food? (Again, in a rude tone.) We collectively had an awkward laugh, unsure if the manager was joking. The manager then said that all of the cooks already left so who was going to make the food because she wasn't going to make it. She's saying all of this in front of me and my friend. The hostess apologizes to her saying she didn't know they had left and thought they could take orders until 10:30. The manager said no then turns to us and says sorry and that the hostess should have known that we couldn't order. My friend and I both say that it's okay and that we didn't realize their kitchen was closed but we would come back at a later time or even tomorrow. The manager said no, the hostess should have known better and just kept bringing it up on how she should've done better. We told her it was really okay, just trying to defuse the situation because she came out so aggressively. We took a menu with us and I told the hostess they she was fine, we weren't upset, and thanked her because she was so kind. We walked outside and stopped for a moment (I had an eyelash in my eye and was trying to get it out haha) when we could see the manager SCREAMING at the hostess. I literally asked my friend if we should go back in because this MANAGER was being absolutely DISGUSTING towards her staff. We decided not to go back in because she seemed like the kind of person that the situation would only get worse. The manager walked off to the side and started texting somebody but was facing away from the hostess so I waved at the hostess and mouthed that I was sorry for causing the situation. She smiled at me, clearly not wanting us to feel bad, and just mouthed back that it was okay and for us to have a good night. I smiled and waved at her again but the manager saw us I guess waving bye to her and WENT BACK to the hostess stand and started yelling at her! Her body language alone was so aggressive. Honestly, my friend and I would've come back, even after the misunderstanding, because that hostess was PEAK customer service. But that manager's behavior was absolutely disgusting and I feel sorry for anyone working there under her. Let me be perfectly clear, this was my FIRST time there and my VERY NEGATIVE impression of this establishment is entirely because of that's manager's behavior.
Sushi Thames is fresh and a great price! We haven’t been into the restaurant, we always get delivery.

The owner is slick with the prices on menu vs what he charges you and if you call him out on it he gets furious and stated slamming the register . Bad taste in my mouth literally .

Sushi Thaime is my go-to local sushi spot. The rolls are always fresh and delicious, and while the noodles are just okay, they’re still a solid option. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re craving good sushi in the area.
