The Original Pancake House Oak Lawn

Went last weekend and the food and service was amazing. Went today and older Hispanic waitress couldn't get the order right. I ordered French toast no powdered sugar and it came with powdered sugar. Husband ordered toast and he got pancakes. Not sure if the issue was her fault or the cook's. When I spend $60 for a meal, I expect it to be what I ordered. She also offered the couple behind us ketchup or hot sauce but we had to ask for it. Please realize that people pay attention. Offer all customers the same thing. Won't return anytime soon. Going back to Stacked. At least their food and service are consistent.

I eat breakfast here several times a month. The service is always good. Melissa and Tanya serve me often, and they are the best. When someone else serves me, they are familiar with my orders. It's obvious that everyone cares about the customers.

I always order my Swedish pancakes for pick up. They are the best. I was given extra today bc they wanted to make sure the pancakes were made properly. How nice!! Tack sjalv!

The food is delicious, and so is the device you will usually get your food in within 10 minutes, but the problem is not the food it's the fruit flies that are flying all over your food while you trying to eat I saw 4 while trying to enjoy my food

Always enjoy OPH! Hot chocolate is the best! Place was very clean but seemed to lack an environmental warmth. Servers and staff are friendly.
