Cajun Boil & Bar - Oakbrook Terrace

Don’t listen to the haters. We came on Saturday during prime time. All of the staff was attentive and nice. The food was incredible. We had hush puppies and holla bags. Great experience, we will definitely out this in our normal rotation!

So I had a great waitress I don’t remember his name but he was attentive and understanding. So we came at happy hour time so we ask bout a happy hour drink . He states that you have to order that at the bar .. ok cool so me and my girl go to bar to order and the lady walked away for a while then when she came back she was nice but tells us that we can’t order a drink at bar and pay for it then go back to our table …. I am like that is so silly that’s why I rarely care to go to these types of establishments because they have SOOOOO MANY RULES FOR EVERYTHING! So I would have rather went to YARDHOUSE up the street then to have spent 1$ here . So me and my sister had boil bags . When I say WATERY ? The supposed to be butter and seasoning in the bag was watery the fountain drink all taste like they were diet carbonated and the Mac and cheese was horrible !!! I wouldn’t recommend an enemy to this place ! And if I was a business person I wouldn’t turn down money …. If they wanna pay for drinks at the bar LET THEM !!!! But looking at the emptiness of this place on a Thursday they won’t be in business too long

Went to to Cajun boil on my lunch break. No one was there completely empty. Someone was at the front counter at the hostess stand, which I think was a manager. The dark skin lady. She was on a phone call. I said at the bar she went to the back and was back there for 5 to 10 minutes. I had to go back and get her she was still on a phone call, stated she will be right back. She went back to the hostess desk, never came back. Was on the phone, joking and laughing and never gave me a menu, never gave me water. Just continue her phone call as if no Customers was in the restaurant. This is the second time I came there and was treated like this. I wont be back! I think she was the manager, she was very very unprofessional and would not hang up our personal phone call. Very disappointed. I would love for the owner to reach out to me so I can tell him about my experience.

This was my first time here, and I really enjoyed The atmosphere, & the food. I had the Headless Shrimp, with Potatoes, & Broccoli. It was delicious.😋😋 I Couldn't add the price because it was my B. Day. I was treated to this dinner.

This place really hit the spot during my stay in Chicago. The vibe was great. Wonderful energy, fantastic music, and the crab boil was on point. I had the house mix, I figured as long as I could taste and see fresh garlic, I would be good, and I was! Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. The hush puppies were very tasty! Ive been to many of these types of joints, even where I live in Maryland. However, this one had it's own feel. I would definitely return!

It was ok. Loud hip hop music, to much garlic in my Holla bag, shrimp still had shell on it. bill had a $13 service fee. And still asked for a tip. provided plastic gloves and bib. Bathroom was clean but needs automatic soap and water dispenser.

First time visiting on Saturday and everything was amazing! The food was delicious, and our server Jazmine was so friendly and welcoming. Great service and great food — I’ll definitely be back!

Made a reservation a day in advance for a 6 person table at 830, arrived at 830 and was told we had to wait 30 min. For a table.. Hostess could not find reservation to save her life, it was on the piece of paper the whole time right in front of her, I had to point it out. She had her AirPods in so understandable of why she couldn’t hear anything but extremely unprofessional . Didn’t seem like anyone knew what they were doing. Overall a mess and extremely unprofessional all around. This place has been around long enough to figure it out, do better. I’ve gotten better service at McDonald’s.

Pretty bad

The food is absolutely bomb 💣 the customer service on the other hand.. not so much. That’s why we just order for pick now, the waitresses aren’t attentive at all probably because gratuity is included 😑 They don’t even check on you after they take your order. Dining in is an absolute no from me, especially when you get charged for ice in your drink.. like what? Unheard of.
