Cajun Boil & Bar in OakBrook!!! Serive is terrible!!! Waitress had a nasty attitude to start with when our party first walked in. We asked if we could have a few tables come together because we had a large party. A woman came from the back while huffing and puffing slamming the tables together. When she was done she made the statement thats all you had to do. Please keep in mind one of the ladies in our party was on a cane. When it was time to order the young waitress came over speeding through our orders while rolling her eyes because she wanted us to move faster. Once the food arrived she reached over someone in our party trying to hand them the food. The food tray leaned slightly and I thought it was going to fall so I reached for it. The waitress snapped loudly and said I'm trying to hand it to her (while rolling her eyes) I pulled my hand back and said wowww excuse me! She went off from there! Calling me all types of rude bitches, invited me outside to fight and said how she was going to fuck me up!!! I have it on video as well!!! The police had to be called and one of the officers stated that this Restaurant indeed needed to close down because of the constant complaints about it and police calls!! They really should have better attitudes when working in food service or with the public in general!!

I did a take order today and the person took my order was unfriendly and didn’t even speak seem angry, needless to say when got my food home the boil eggs were rotten smelled bad and green thru out, corn not fresh, just garbage wasted $30 they can close this store and I won’t miss it

In town working a Co-worker suggested I try this location. Upon entry I was disgusted the hostess aka Manager Breshay was looking down on her phone didn't acknowledge me, when she did look up no greeting at all asked did I want to sit at the bar or dining area, I stated dining area please, she literal reached around the hostess stand and put the menu on the table and gestured me"you can sit here" and sat back down at the hostess stand. Tacky, tasteless and unprofessional. You are in a customer service environment if you do not like your job please go home, I understand we all have not so good days but leave your attitude and unpleasantness at the door.. you are the 1st face we see. .... the food was good my server Tiana was great I will patronize again just not at this Oakbrook IL location. My rating is overall experience..Manager Breshay you should lead by example not by title!

Where to start, where to start. Okay, this place has gone down hill quick. It used to be one of my favorite spots, but now I'm gonna have to give, them a 2/10. I called to make a reservation and was told I don't need to that they were not busy at all. We arrived at the restaurant no more than 20 min from when I called and there were no tables. The greeter had to clean a table for us to sit by the bar area. We sat and was told that our server would be coming shortly. We waited 30 min, then I've done had it and got up and asked for service. The greeter took our order, apologizing that they are short on servers. Another 10 min to get our glass of water and another 10 more to get our alcoholic beverages, which the greeter had to personally make herself since the bar tender seems too busy just taking shots with the customers at the bar. On to the food, the king Crabs were a bit over cook and partially mushy, and they did not have any sausage in our bag even though we ordered it. My tsunami drink was improperly made, but I'll give them a pass for that because it's a costum order. We ate some and had to leave. Upon asking for our receipt, I then noticed this sign indicating that "gratatuity" is included automatically on ALL table. With the horrible experience, this is not at all okay. The owner should either raise their prices and pay their servers or give them a raise themselves. Why are we as customers forced to pick up the slack on you not being able to pay your server, right? Tiping should never be automatic for a table less than 5 like wth? It was just me and my wife. $24 automatic tip to such crappy service is not at all acceptable. The food is still very flavorful and good portion besides the overcook mark and that's the only reason I'm not giving it a 1. Note that I also found this other Pic on Instagram and this worker is clearly on regular clothing sitting on the server prep area where RTE is set and drinks are prep. This is a health code violation. I will no longer be coming back.

Drove an extra 30 minutes after my encounter at the Oak Park location and I’m glad I did. The hostess was nice and helpful and I was able to get my take out order in 30 minutes. Food was good and so was the customer service thanks!

This place is slowly falling off of my radar! I couldn't tell an employee actually worked there when I picked up my food! Is it a black business thing! No uniform, no name tag, no greet ! Wow... then I called to ask about my crab legs...why so many of them are missing and the socket has no meat! They could have kept it!

Made a reservation a day in advance for a 6 person table at 830, arrived at 830 and was told we had to wait 30 min. For a table.. Hostess could not find reservation to save her life, it was on the piece of paper the whole time right in front of her, I had to point it out. She had her AirPods in so understandable of why she couldn’t hear anything but extremely unprofessional . Didn’t seem like anyone knew what they were doing. Overall a mess and extremely unprofessional all around. This place has been around long enough to figure it out, do better. I’ve gotten better service at McDonald’s.

Oak brook, Oak Park, really doesn't matter what location you will have to wait for your pickup order. 4/5 times it took 30 minutes to 1.5hrs after the scheduled time to actually get the order. Food is good, so if you don't care about time and you are craving a boil it does the job.
