Our table was ready the moment we arrived. Our server was excellent-very attentive. The meals were top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Johny was the best bar server we've ever had there. We've been to Devon about a hundred times over the years and Johny was the first server who knew the wine list by name and didn't keep asking “which one?!” Like we've experienced numerous times in the past. Johny was “Johny on the Spot!” Throughout our entire meal. I was so impressed with him that I went up to the host stand and asked Manager Vanessa to please assign us to him in the future, which to my surprise she had already done that for us when we paid a compliment to her regarding Johny. Nice to see that Devon might be on the up and up. We've had so many sub par experiences in the past, and tonight's experience changed our opinions about Devon. Thanks Johny!
good food and service - i know it was a hot day but AC wasn't work very good. It was getting warm in the place
Boring, salty fish. The ambiance is like a college cafeteria. Service was fine. Prices are extremely high for the poor food quality
we often dine at Devon. My husband wanted the copper salmon which he enjoyed. I have ordered the Scallops many times and they have always been good. This time the menu had a little different preparation to the dish. Instead of being served with risotto it was with a bacon jam. When the dish was put in front of me it looked like an appetizer. The old dish came with 5 - 6 good size scallops. This one had only three medium scallops.....the dish cost $45! My husband said its a good thing a man didn't order that for his entre. It was tasty but yes VERY small portion. More an appetizer than a meal. Very disappointing to say the least. I will never order that again from Devon. For the portion the dish should have only cost $30 or been an appetizer.
Food was good although my tuna came back too well done but they gladly replaced it. We were very disappointed in the service, felt rushed. The waiter put the check down before I even finished my meal. Felt that the overall experience was not worth the price of the meal.
Although it was Father's Day, the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, but the service was very slow. I had to ask the status of our drinks, and it took over 45 minutes for us to receive our food. If the kitchen was running behind, we weren't told this because our server did not stop by to give us an update about the status of our meals. My husband and I overhead the same waitress apologize twice to two other couples about the service. My fault for not informing the manager but I didn't want to get the waitress in trouble. I'd previously visited this restaurant at a different location, and the service was different.
If you want a great steakhouse experience with very reasonable prices, this is the place to go! I'm trying to find a reason to back again!!
Devon always has a wonderful menu and the food is beautifully prepared. Great service and nice ambience. It is so wonderful to be in a quiet restaurant where we can converse with our friends while we enjoy a lovely meal.
Our food (river salmon special and sea bass) was outstanding but we wished that the service matched that quality - unfortunately it didn't. Our server kept interrupting our meal several times and yet was unavailable the one time we needed him because our dinners were delivered without any available knives.

First visit, sat in bar area. Live pianist. Happy hour, specials on appetizers and drinks. Marta was great. Food was fantastic all around. Will definitely return.
We've dined at Devon over the past few years. Last night I got the mahi mahi and my husband, who cooks for a hobby, got the rotisserie chicken. He mentioned his was very flavorful and would order it again. Price was a few dollars higher than expected for a chicken dish though. My mahi was very good although a small thinner piece of fish than expected with minimal “mango salsa”(which I love). My favorite fish is “sea bass” although we felt it was overpriced on the menu $52. (a similar restaurant in area less expensive and is amazing). I've had the “Chilean” sea bass a couple years ago at Devon which is much better than the regular sea bass in their menu. I did appreciate receiving a birthday gift card from this restaurant. It did help with the total bill... drinks, food etc. all in all a pleasant experience with ambiance. Our server was great!
Very disappointed. Devon's had great reviews but we were all disappointed. First $16 drinks were small and weak. Service was just Ok. For a $400 meal there are way too many places you can go and get a great dinner. I would avoid going here.
Excellent food, wine, and service. The specials menu had some wonderful entrees on it - I had the stuffed salmon - delicious, my husband had blackened scallops, also delicious! There have been some menu changes but many of the favorites are still there.
Devon S +T, is always our first night out for fine dining when in town visiting family. Consistently friendly, professional greeters and host staff. Top quality food preparation, presentation and flavor: oysters, calamari, tuna, halibut, scallops, crab-cakes, shrimp, cauliflower au gratin, green beans & pecans. Highest compliments to the cook staff, bar, wait staff and managers. Reassuring to see a simple concept:consistently serving quality food in a pleasant atmosphere, remains a top priority at Devon Seafood & Steak.
