We had a great experience. Service was awesome. Food was very good. I had a ribeye that was cooked perfectly and loved the lemon asparagus risotto. A couple of very well made martinis capped off a great evening. We will definitely be going back! Thanks

Devon never disappoints! Our dinner was absolutely delicious--especially the vegetables, cauliflower au gratin and broccolini with lemon and feta! We both ordered the Maple Plank Salmon which was cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and included a little birthday surprise (don't forget to sign up for their emails so you get $25 off for your bday). The Prix Fixe menu is a good deal. I hope we can get back during the holidays and see their decor. We love this place. I just wish it were closer to our house so we could go more often.

Great tasting food. One of the better Seafood and Steak restaurants that made sure that the food was well seasoned. Not too much seasoning and not too less seasoning. Our server, Kevin was gracious and cordial. He did forget a couple of times our request for extra bread but it came. Lol. Will definitely return again when we are in Oak Brook. Lastly, thank you for celebrating my daughters birthday with a birthday treat at the end.

Amazing as always ! Great birthday celebration for my mom who picked the restaurant for the miso glazed sea bass.

Excellent dining experience. Met a friend on Wednesday night. Restaurant was not crowded and we had a nice booth. My only minor complaint was that the lighting above the booth was very bright and they could not adjust it. Service and food was excellent.

Joshua was amazing. Menu a bit confusing when it came to one of the orders and wish there was more of a sense of urgency when it came to length of time at restaurant. We were there a bit long. Overall great food just smaller portions for the price.

We have been eating at this, and the original Bristol, Braxton, and now Devon for over 30 years. Outstanding food and service keeps us coming back. Local gem in the area and a great place to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends. Great job!

I was pleasantly surprised by Devon Seafood + Steak! When I say it was absolutely amazing! I had went here for a friend's birthday dinner and we had a time! We all ordered from the prie fixe menu. The gumbo, baby greens salad, and caesar starters were all delicious. Flavor! The entrees - salmon, miso sea bass & crab cakes were all piping hot and flavorful. I had a mango tango drink - the tanjin rim was icing on the cake. Our server was so kind and patient with us. Anytime I'm back in Chicago I will make it a mission to visit.

Food and service were excellent. Service was prompt with the right level of attentiveness.

We have always had good food and service at Devon. Our server was very inattentive and almost rude. We were disappointed as we were hosting friends.

Day Three: Devon Seafood + Steak in Oakbrook Terrace delivers a top-tier dining experience from start to finish. I started with the SPARKLING BLACKBERRY MARTINI as my cocktail— Ketel One Vodka, Chambord, fresh lemon, finished with a Prosecco float—elegant and refreshing! I skipped the appetizer opting instead for their famous Creole Gumbo, a rich and flavorful blend of andouille sausage, shrimp, chicken, and rice — perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. It did not disappoint! I then added four of the Daily Oysters — two of the Rappahannock Oysters from Chesapeake, VA and two of the Delaware Bay Oysters. Both were fresh, chilled, and beautifully presented on ice with a trio of sauces: cocktail sauce with horseradish, Tabasco, and malt vinegar with scallions. Together, they made for a perfect start — simple, classic, and impeccably fresh. For the entrée, I enjoyed a 1/2-pound Cold Water Lobster Tail, served with Green Beans tossed with spiced pecans and rich, creamy Lobster Mac & Cheese. I also added 1/2-pound Crab Legs for an indulgent seafood experience. A beautifully balanced meal — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying from start to finish.

We had a lovely experience at Devon! Staff was friendly and helpful--food was delicious with lots of excellent choices--wonderful ambience. The dining room is comfortable and quiet with music in the background that allowed us to comfortably talk.

Service was pleasant, but a bit slow. All of the items that we ordered were excellent. The cauliflower was spicier than remembered, but still quite tasty.

Service was amazing and beyond our expectations. The food was super delicious and we tried the seafood fondue appetizer and it was awesome , my only suggestion might be a couple more crostini's to dip . My enteee was super tasty- mixed seafood grill - and the potatoes were awesome . The dessert was an Apple croustade and it had vanilla ice cream and my husband and I were celebrating our birthdays so they gave it complimentary to us. Such an unexpected treat ..!! We will be back for sure .

The seared Chilean sea bass was outstanding, as well as the rest of our meal. Wonderful dinner!
