Came here with my wife while we were in town for a marriage conference. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had a reservation so the wait wasn't bad. Service was excellent and they got us helped very promptly, even with the full house!I ordered pollo marsala (pictured) with The Godfather (drink). Both were excellent! My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. Used the side lot which is shared by the other businesses nearby and found a couple spots immediately.

We enjoyed the appetizers , drinks dessert and service . Jodie our server was amazing and very attentive. All the recommendations made by her, we loved. Thank you Jodie .We ordered bruschetta , calamari, chopped salad, minestrone soup, peace bianco alla spinaci, pollo positano. Their martinis are amazing and so were their desserts- Affogato, tirmaisu and apple crostata. A big shout out to the owner Billy for going above and beyond and handling a delicate situation. I know I will be back for some yummy italian food .

New to the area and enjoying the dinning. Nice atmosphere and great table set up. The flavors really stood out in this dish very tasty. Service was On point as well. My guest had the Chicken Alfredo with added shrimp very Good also. I will return to try other menu option's.

The food, the service, the ambiance were all wonderful. Our server was very attentive. We each had The Godfather Old Fashioned and I tried the Grigliato Misto and my date had the Chilean Sea Bass. Both dishes were excellent, the fish was butter soft. Perfect restaurant to go to before a show.

An excellent experience! We are visiting northern Illinois from out of state and luckily chose Positano from a Google search. Glad we made reservations, as it was quite crowded with walk-ins waiting for tables. The hosts were very gracious and apologized for making us wait like 2 minutes while our table was readied. The service was very attentive, the cocktails were great and our food was amazing. We really enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back.
Food overall was amazing. Would definitely recommend going here with a group of family/ friends if you don't want a steep bill. Did not receive refills right away because our waiter was new. Overall great spot.

A great find on a random night out with friends. The moment you walk in there is an aroma that hits your senses in an intoxicating way. Lovely servers and friendly.
This is a terrific restaurant. The food is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. The service was prompt and reliable. The noise level was low so we could converse. The portions were substantial so we all had food to bring home. It was a very nice place to catch up with friends. All in all it was a great evening.

Greatest spot on service from wait staff. Food was very very delicious. My first visit here, and second visit for my guests. Cant say enough good things about staff, especially our knowledgeable and helpful waiter. Will be back!

I love this restaurant! It's a hidden gem. There is a ton of parking, the food is always delicious, and the service is top notch! I highly recommend going here for a great experience. Pollo positano is my favorite, but everything is good!

I've dined here several times, I specifically asked in my reservation for a corner table to celebrate a birthday. At 445pm we were seated in the very center of the empty dining room. There was no mention that we were celebrating a birthday so dessert arrived very lack luster. Disappointing experience, as this was a recommendation I made for my friends birthday that was mediocre. It'll be a while before I return, if at all. Our server was pleasant I dont think our reservation details were given to him.

We come here quite often for the Chicken Limone. It's consistently prepared to perfection. The chicken is breaded lightly, tender & moist. The sauce is flavorful, and the linguine is firm. The bread is fresh with a thick crust and the parmasan & olive oil are the best.
