I highly recommend the brisket sandwich, it was fantastic, and I don't use that term loosely with brisket.
The staff was great! I had originally ordered a fish sandwich until I saw someone eating the brisket and asked them to change it. They gladly made the switch.

This was our first time at Lazy Day Cafe, but definitely won't be our last. Excellent food, friendly & efficient service and great prices. The Sunday fried chicken special was large enough to share and their homemade pies are amazing. I highly recommend the peanut butter pie. Perfect place to stop for ice cream after kayaking or lunch after church.
The BEST BEEF MANHATTAN I have had in a long time and the strawberry pie was delish the prices were not bad at all and everyone was so friendly and nice. We are from Georgetown and the drive is so worth it. I can't wait to come back and try something new
