Restaurant in an old VFW building. One of those small town places you can easily miss if you don't know what you're looking for.

However, I must say as someone growing up on the Gulf Coast, I was thoroughly impressed by the Friday Catfish plate with hash brown casserolle?. Catfish was fried to absolute perfection. Even the coleslaw was excellent!

We first encountered Jayne when she had the restaurant at Walnut Point State Park. Her home cooked meals are always delicious and fresh. Her pies and other desserts are second to none. If you want down home cooking, you'll want to stop at Williams Cafe.
Delicious home cooked meals and wonderful staff. This was our first visit to Williams Cafe at this location and we will definitely be back. They don't accept cards, so be sure to bring cash. ?
