I don't normally write a review on fast food. It's pretty much all standard and you know what you're going to get. This one little hardy's out in the middle of nowhere at a truck stop is the exception to the rule. I kid you not out of 20 years. This is the best breakfast biscuit I have had. I got their double sausage no egg cheese biscuits. It tasted like they used to twenty years ago. Everything about this thing was fresh. The biscuit was not barter overcooked or hard. I don't know if they have a new cook or if they've reset their company standards. But go there before they change anything and get a biscuit for breakfast.

Went through the drive-thru. Ordered a candied bacon breakfast frisco sandwich. Was taken by surprise when I looked at the receipt, they charged e tra for removing the ham and replacing with bacon!

The food was not great. Hubby's sandwich was missing the tomato, and my ham and cheese had a hair in it. Sadly, we discovered it after we were down the road a fair bit, and since we were on a trip, we didn't have time to take it back.

I stopped by the Hardee’s in Oakwood, not only was French Vanilla their only creamer (being hooked to a gas station) they didn’t add cheese to any of our sandwiches, and they got the frisco breakfast sandwich wrong instead of ham I got sausage.

The service was clownish. Half our order sat on the counter in a bag. We noticed people after us was getting their food before us. So I asked if it could be ours, they looked at our ticket and started putting more food in the bag then handed it to me saying sorry. I take the bag a few steps to our table and start pulling food out (of course part of our meal was cold by then.) But also there was only one fry instead of 2. I went and told server and they said , uh can I see the bag. Like I was lying over fries. ? . I said look at our table. Poor service.
Food is good but the employees don't know how to ring in your order so it takes them 10 mins to figure it out.

Just stopped in for a shake and cinnamon roll. Had to wait for 5 min at the counter for someone to help me. There were several with earbuds in listening to music, plus there was music playing in the back. Employees need to be a little more focused on their work. The food was good but the service not so much.

Sept 20, 2023 at approximately 6:10 PMStopped here at Love’s for gas, went inside Hardee’s for food and I’m standing at the counter waiting for someone to notice me, I watch a young male employee with short dark hair eating out of the French fry bin with his bare hands. Then he turned around and sees me watching him as he walks towards me thinking he’d take my order. Nope!!!!! I started shaking my head in disgust, turned around and walked straight out to my truck to write this review.Now I’m headed down the street to McDonalds which is where I recommend everyone else goes too.
