Very nice. White table cloths. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
Great place, loved the open fire grill
Hopefully they can turn this restaurant back around. The food wasn't as good as it once was, and it's starting to take its toll. The last time I was there (over a year ago) the food was very good, and the place was packed. This time, the food was noticeably not as good and there were plenty of open seats. Many people will not say anything; they will simply not return.
What can I say about possum trot...

Food is good. Definitely have had better but bar server could be 95%
better. On a slow Tuesday night. 4 servers
including bartender(my server) sitting at a
table together, while Customers still here
eating! Not good seeing employees sitting
around while on job especially at a
restaurant!!

We visited on Sunday the 25th of August. We were seated right away, got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered our food. When the waitress brought the bread it wasn’t done. We ordered, my wife only ordered a salad and baked potato with the intent to have a small piece of of my Prime Rib. We got the salads, they were fine. Then came the meal. Potatoes were barely warm. We told the waitress, she brought us new potatoes, but they were not warm either. The Prime Rib was so salty and had so much seasoning on it that we couldn’t eat it, although I tried. All in all this was just plain not good.

I went with a group of friends. I ordered the mushroom appetizers and they were very good. However, I ordered the scallops and they were very crunchy with sand still in them. I also ordered the grilled asparagus and it was very stringy and I could not eat it, the house salad was basic and I ordered blue cheese dressing. The dressing was very runny and did not have any flavor at all. There was no blue cheese.
Others at my table had very small dishes for their main entrée, and the prime rib was overdone and way too salty of au jus.
Very overpriced for the lackluster dinner.

Our server Austin was great, efficient, and very kind! We had the scallops, loaded chicken, and a few alcohol drinks such as the grasshopper and ex boyfriend. Very great place! Will come back.

It hasn't changed since your grandparents ate there. I felt like I was stepping back into the 1960's. If you ever wondered what your grandparents ate when they went out on their date night.
