First off I want to say The blackened chicken was excellent! The Alfredo sauce and pasta were other stories. The pasta was too thick for my liking, and the saucewas overly smokey tasting, almost like a liquid smoke was used. The sauce did not fit the season, and the smokiness simply overpowered everything else. While this was poorly done, that doesn't carry over to most of the menu options! The Possum Trot has some amazing food, for the most part.

We hadn't been there in quite a while and it did not disappoint. I would have like a little more seasoning on my steak but a little pepper worked just fine.Food: 4/5

I was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food and service was on point. Got the petite filet mignon (cooked perfectly to medium rare) and baked potatoe. Meal came with a healthy salad to offset the tasty fresh bread that arrived before the meal. Great experience as usual.Food: 5/5

We came with our church family. I will start with the good news 1st .the servers were Savannah & sarah. They were awesome ?. They seated us in a big Square Which was OK but a bit tight. I'm only going to talk about my food and my wife's . The quality of the food was all great. The portions were a bit small For the price range. I had fish&chips .substituted fries for a baked potato my baked potato was cold the butter did not melt or the cream cheese that they put in my potato. I was disappointed with the fish. I was thinking I would get a couple bigger portions of fish to my surprise it was fish 3 strips. Everything on my wife plate was cold as well. All in all we we will come back just the two of us and try it again .I know in a big party this happens.

I ordered the lobster and it didn't have any flavor. The salad was drenched in dressing. The potato was cold. I ordered it with butter and sour cream. I took a bite and it was a slab of butter that hadn't melted. The service was good.

It was a good time and good food. Try the double cut pork chop. Blow your mind. Make sure you get a box for left overs.

I walked in and thought WOW, an authentic old supper club, it was a very nostalgic looking place, cooking over a charcoal grill unfortunately the steak didn't have a charcoal grill flavor, the baked potato you could tell was started about 11 am in the morning. The skin was dried out and cooked way too long.Food: 3/5

Very good seared tuna. However, they were out of two menu items we tried to order, overall the experience could have been better.

There are fairly soon pickings in terms of dinner choices around Danville after 7 pm. This is one of the finer dining establishments. Friendly service, large portions, but I didn't really enjoy the food. Appetizers and filet mignon entree were mediocre, alas. It didn't justify higher prices, in my opinion

We went here for our anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed. I ordered the blackened chicken pasta, with the chicken on the side as I do not eat meat. When the food came out it looked great, but 3 bites in I notice there are small pieces of chicken in the sauce. I told our server i felt awful bringing it up, but there was chicken in my pasta and I do not eat meat, so I asked for the entree to be taken off of our bill. The server went and spoke to another server, at the bar, and she came over to our table. She asked what the issue was and when I told her she asked for me to show her the chicken we found in the dish. I was appalled, then she went on to tell me this has happened to her before and it was really just a mushroom and then asked me if maybe it was a mushroom. I told her it was not and she played it off like I had mistaken a mushroom for chicken and then walked away. I haven't ate meat for almost 20 years, I know the difference between chicken and mushrooms. Our original server brought out the bill with the pasta still on it, so we paid, gave a very small tip, and left. Needless to say we will not be going back. Here's your friendly reminder that the customer is never wrong and I hope that $20 entree was a real profit for your establishment.

Had dinner here for the first time and wasn't disappointed. The fall cocktail selection was on point; I had the gin cider. For food I had the prime rib sandwich with au jus and fries. The meat was melt in your mouth and the fries were solid. 4 outta 5 as anticipate spending roughly 25 to 35 bucks per person.
