Hubby and I both had the brisket platter. Fries weren't listed on the sides menu so I ordered an extra basket, but then hubby noticed it was on the sides menu behind the counter - would appreciate this being made clear.

The brisket was really good, as were the sides, but I'm not sure the quantity was worth $21. The sides were pretty small.

My biggest complaint is that it took HALF AN HOUR to get our fries. We finished the rest of our food and it still took around 10 more minutes from then. They literally came out right as I was getting up to ask for a refund.

TLDR: good food but expensive for portion size; service/planning is lacking if it takes so long to bring part of the meal out.

Read reviews on the grits casserole and banana pudding and they were spot on. Amazingly delicious. I would come back, just for those.

Got the catfish and it was ok. Not huge fillets, and fried extra dark. Could have used more buttermilk to counter the fishy taste.

My family and I have been to Edley's many times and eaten both at the restaurant and done pickup orders with no issues. Tonight we ordered a delivery order, which we found out unfortunately is delivered by a third party, and Edley's does not honor nor try to fix any mistakes that the restaurant itself makes.

One of the things we ordered was a catfish platter, and we paid $3 extra to get 7 pieces instead of 5 pieces. Taking a look at the picture as it was delivered, I'm not sure if they just gave a 5 piece order or actually considered those 2 small pieces the 6th and 7th piece. My husband called and spoke very nicely to manager John, who informed him there was nothing the restaurant could do and suggested the DoorDash driver probably reached into the tied bag and took 2 pieces of fish, that I might add that all other pieces were under the cornbread when the box was opened. So untied the bag, reached into the container, under the cornbread, took 2 pieces of fish, put the cornbread back, closed the container, and retied the bag. As opposed to the restaurant itself giving us either a 5 piece order or these 2 tiny pieces as the "7 piece order."

So our only resolution offered was to call DoorDash and accuse them of stealing our food and get a refund. Shame that a local place acts like this. This will be our last order from Edleys, which is unfortunate because their food was decent.

The bartender was the worst ever. She totally ignored us when we walked in. Then it was more important to tell us the rules instead of providing us a service.

I'm not impressed by the food the meat is a little too burnt and dry also the sauce isn't great if they can work on that it could be a alright place.

I've been a few times and every time the food is fresh and very good. The portions are very good for the price.

The food was low quality Edley's to be modeled after a cheap chain restaurant.
It was loud enough that the order taker could not hear us. You can get good pulled pork almost anywhere. But not here.

Was excited to try after hearing it was pretty good. Wanted to get a sampler plate, but the menu only has a sampler for 3-4 people. Why in the world would they not offer a 2-3 meat sampler plate so that the customer can get their favorite preference…especially if it’s their first time visiting? I also asked if I could mix the 3 tacos, again trying to get a variety, and they said it had to be same meat. They also have Nashville hot links that sound amazing, but only as a “shareable” item. C’mon, man…I just wanna plate of pulled pork, links, and burnt ends! But unfortunately their menu does not give you that option. So, I’m leaving as a first time guest just to share that it’s sorta pricey, lacks plate options, and that the pulled pork was “good”. For reference, while this is a newer facility, Beast BBQ is still the best in the area! Not trying to bash the place, but rather provide feedback…let the customers pick their choice of meats!!!

I came for the BBQ, but I left with a lifelong love affair with their grits and banana pudding. Let’s be real: the BBQ here is so spectacular it deserves a standing ovation, but the real show-stoppers are the grits and the banana pudding.

And then there’s the banana pudding. Oh, the banana pudding. Layers of creamy, dreamy goodness that made me question all my previous pudding experiences. If this pudding were a person, I’d marry it.

In summary: the BBQ is fantastic, but the grits and banana pudding are so extraordinary they should be classified as national treasures.

10/10 would devour again and again.

If you like spicy bbq, this might be the place for you. Unfortunately being allergic, this isn’t an option for me and they don’t have any good alternatives. Disappointing for the price. I’ll continue to go to Doc’s or Pappy’s.
