Food is absolutely delicious' Great Service' Really nice workers!

I wanted to give two stars, my husband thought it was worth three. We chose the buffet and were told the remainder of the foods would be brought out shortly. We were the first ones there at exactly the opening time. Just a few people came in after us. There were 2 or 3 waitresses, so they definitely weren't short-handed. We had an hour and 15 minutes before we needed to be across the street at the movie theater. I asked a couple of times, for tortillas to eat the fajita mix on. They insisted that I had to wait until the tortillas were brought out to the buffet. When you say 11:00 for the start of the buffet and it is 11:30 or later when everything is out, there's a problem. We didn't have much time to spare to get to the movie. The food didn't taste so great either. There are so many good Mexican Restaurants in the area, I don't think we will be back to El Maya

Absolutely horrible, got one star because zero wasn’t an option. Only people in the place and service was terrible too. Food finally arrived and literally looked like someone puked on a plate. Stay away, you’ll thank me!

Waited almost 45 mins in an empty restaurant for food , the chicken ? wings were definitely undercooked blood still on bone. . Unfortunately

Food was not good, frozen margarita wasn't frozen, service was very slow.

The food use to be good up until recently my chicken inside my street tacos are always hard now my fried ice cream is missing the tortilla bowl or it has no toppings and its seems as if they have a hard time following instructions I asked for a burrito with jus cheese shrimp and rice he took it upon himself to add refried beans it didn't even come with that on it the quality of food has went down tremendously they have been here for a year and the food has went to hell too many cooks in the kitchen hopefully they get it together oh not to mention my chips are stale and this has went on for 3 days the bad food quality

California burrito was ginormous and so very delicious! Staff were super attentive without being annoying about it and very friendly, providing good conversation. Location is super convenient, right off of exit 14 on I64 in O’Fallon, across from the Cinema. Hubby had fajitas and said they were really good too. We’ll definitely be going back!

The first time I was there it was real good. That was a couple months ago . Today it was ok but the food didn’t have much flavor. Even the guacamole and salsa didn’t have much flavor. Must of been a different cook. Our waitress was great and very friendly. Maybe just a bad day.

Great service! I got the carne asada street tacos and my husband got the el pastor street tacos and we both really enjoyed them. Free chips and salsa, and we also ordered some guacamole which was yummy as well. We’ll be back!

Their food is normally top notch and it's one of our favorite restaurants in the entire area, but tonight was not their best... but that was a first. We will continue to dine here because of all the other times we've been here it has been fantastic. Try the fajitas El Maya!
