Gators Fabulous Frozen Custard

Just went tonight and am disappointed. My wife and I ordered simple items (hot fudge sundae and a cake batter shake) but we had a 25 minute wait AFTER we ordered in the drive through. After 10 minutes I counted NINE items go out the walk up. After 15 minutes I got my sundae which had maybe 1 pump of chocolate. 10 minutes later we gat a shake. the sundae was half melted at this point but the shake was wrong. We got a vanilla shake instead of a cake batter.

Had been anxiously awaiting for them to reopen, as they have always been a favorite. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. Ordered a regular concrete and it had the consistency of a watered down milkshake. Service was slow and not very welcoming. Will take my business to Sonic or Culver’s in the future. 😕

Good ice cream. But $17 for a small and a medium is crazy. I get you have to keep the lights on and highschool and college kids employed but dang.

Excited to see this place open and have been looking forward to trying it. Ordered two small concretes, the Cookie Monster and the All American. Probably the worst tasting concretes we have ever had, and why did it cost over $17 for two small concretes??!?!!

O’Fallon staple. I’ve been out of the country the last 6+ years and came back last fall. I was over the moon to walk my dog to Gator’s and share this experience, so when I saw a sign of them for sale, I was distraught!! So grateful that they’ve made their place and are hopefully here to stay! Can’t wait to drop in later!

Gator’s is back! The ice cream is amazing! My daughter had chocolate covered strawberries and I had the Oreo both were great!

This visit was a disappointment. I ordered $21 worth of ice cream. The brownie volcanoe had a dollop of ice cream on it and all the other ice creams (which were supposed to be concretes) being held out the window were already melted. The snickers concrete was supposed to have mixed nuts and I added oreos, only it was oreo dust and peanuts instead. Nothing special about the "specialty concretes". However' The young man at the window taking my order was so courteous

Slow and employees had a bad attitude

Unable to comment on the quality of the ice cream because there were no employees there to serve it.I was part of a group of 15 kids (plus adults) that were scheduled to do a tour of the facility. The employees never showed up before hours for the scheduled / confirmed tour - leaving a group of very excited kids, very bummed. The owner barely seemed apologetic and asked if we wanted to reschedule our entire group... which is obviously a "no".
