So you’ve got 3 groups of people waiting to be seated. You have 5 women sitting at a table rolling up silverware, staring at us. So a man from the kitchen had to walk out to tell one them to take care of us. (Where is the manager?)
After seating one group, the rest of us had a 15 minute wait after standing there for about 10 minutes waiting for one of those women to acknowledge us.
Another gentleman and his family come in and she was about to seat them and forgot the 2 other groups of us sitting right here that SHE WROTE OUR NAMES DOWN RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER!
Now we have a girl seating us when she is not on the clock (I heard her tell the manager).
The girl serving us is an absolute sweetheart though!
Who do I blame for this chaos? The manager and corporate. They clearly don’t care about their staff, their restaurant, or the customers. This is what you get in the corporate food industry world. Underpaid people, sad service, and a dirty dining area.

The pancakes were great. But...no coffee? Yup, no coffee. Bathrooms were very questionable. Floors were puddled with water and toilet was leaking. Would not recommend this location

Great staff. I think they have a few things to take care of related to the buildings being closed for so long. With time they should be great for those who crave breakfast anytime

I usually try to glance back in the kitchen area to see if the cooks are wearing gloves. In this day, sure enough not one of the many cooks were wearing gloves. I even noticed a guy wiping his nose with his bare hands. I asked to speak to a manager who refused to come out and was told by the Host that the manager was too busy cooking. I replied...no problem, I'll wait. When he still didn't come out, I then asked the Host what was the store number? The Host then attempted to get the Manager again, yet another guy came out acting as supposedly a night Manager that was working OT and gave some story about they only wear gloves when handling meat...but assured me their hands were clean. I didn't waste time letting him insult my intelligence with such ignorance. I simply walked out.

They have horrible notes to their staff all over the place. I would not work there just based off the notes alone. Seems like an unfriendly place to be a worker.

Service was great! Food was great! I was so surprised this restaurant was so empty at 1:00 p.m. We left a big tip! We didn't have to wait long for our food.

A little over a year ago, this location was an absolute disaster. The franchise owner has completely turned everything around and this is the best IHOP now that I have ever been to. The staff are very respectful, very thorough and on their game. He treat you more like a friend than a customer and it really has a feel the mom and pop breakfast spot then a chain restaurant. The food looks and tastes exactly like you would want an IHOP to taste and I couldn’t be prouder of this location and it is my number one weekend breakfast spot now. Ultimately, The issues previously were not those of the Manager, but from a staff who refused to listen and wanted to do their own thing. Gone is the smell of weed and stink and gone is taking hours to get your food. Do you and your family a favor and give IHOP O’Fallon another try for breakfast and you will not be disappointed at all.

they have no sign on the door saying they don’t take American Express and they waited till I was done eating to tell me they don’t take American Express like all the other IHOPs. had my Costco card they would more than likely call the cops on me and say I refuse to pay.

Great IHOP location. We went in the evening so there was no wait period for a table. Please know that if you go on Saturday or Sunday morning, you should expect a wait time, and that is every breakfast sit-down restaurant. Food was topnotch and our wait staff was attentive.
