Glad they were open until midnight on a Tuesday night! We came here to get away from the pickle smell and terrible college kids' music at Shooters and also to play some pool. Cheap drinks, much better small town vibe and the locals at the bar acted as though we were regulars. If we find ourselves this far east of St Louis again in our travels will definitely stop again.

Came in with my husband. My husband ordered a beer and I asked for a soda water since I cannot drink. We received the worst attitude. Her questioning what a soda water was we tried to explain nicely and we got more attitude from the bartender. She was so nasty and using hand gestures naming different types of pop and looking at us like we were stupid. She was very aggressive. I’ve never been more disrespected and so unwelcome. First and last time coming. I understand if she didn’t know what soda water was, it was the aggressive attitude and disrespect right away. We were so shocked.

The atmosphere was amazing, the drinks were ice cold, and the Tuesday night bartender was a total babe

I enjoy coming here and socializing, what I do not like is the bartenders playing slot machines while they are working. I do play the slots, however its is very distasteful to think that they rather play the slots than make sure the bar patrons are being taking care of to ensure the owner of the business keeps their registers ringing, but I guess they make money off the slots also, so I guess they don't really care, if someone wants to have a cocktail or not or what kind of service is given.

The Outdoorsman is a historic tavern full of great people and the drink prices are cheap.

Always fun and cocktails are just the right price.

If you're looking to do some gambling on the slots, they have plenty of machines to try your luck. They also have drink specials almost every night, and their prices are reasonable. They do not serve food.
