Peel Wood Fired Pizza Reviews
Phenomenal food and beer. My husband and I tried the potato wedges, garlic wings and the garlic chicken pizza and it was all great. 10/10.. we are mad at ourselves that we just now discovered this place. I wish we lived closer!
As someone who has worked in the restaurant almost exclusively for the past 21 years, I can tell that this establishment prides itself on good quality food and good service.
The place was on a wait (sometimes inconvenient but usually a good sign), we went to the bar while we waited for our table. The bartender, Chris was excellent.

Peel Wood Fired Pizza offers excellent prosciutto pizza and a top-notch selection of unique toppings. The atmosphere and service are friendly, with staff like Matt providing outstanding customer service and helpfulness. The restaurant features a great beer selection, including Blood Orange Wheat and Tangerine Kolsch, which are highly recommended. The menu also includes favorites such as wings, cheese garlic ciabatta bread, and Mac and cheese for kids. The decor is starting to look tired, with ripped seats and stains on the walls around the tables, and prices can be a bit high for the overall experience, though it remains a good occasional treat. During peak hours, wait times can be long, and parking may be crowded, so arriving early is advised to avoid feeling rushed. The upstairs bar, with bartender Brian and his team, offers top-notch service, especially on Fridays when guests enjoy the best espresso martini and dishes like salmon ceaser salad and wild mushroom soup. Dessert options like Nutella dessert pizza are popular among families. Despite some minor decor issues, the delicious food, friendly staff, and great beer selection make Peel Wood Fired Pizza a worthwhile visit.
