Hi, the reason I gave the food three stars( I really wanted to give it a 4.5) everything was great except the macaroni. The macaroni was NOT creamy it was dry. The greens, yams, and turkey leg were cooked to perfection. I'll be back but I may not get the macaroni (it doesn't look the same as your videos)

The macaroni had cheeeeeeessseeee all through da bissssssssssshhhhhhh! Hands down I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10 everything was top of the line amazing. If yall wanna expand to Nashville give me a call 🤣🤣🤣

Entrance smells bad. Food was overpriced for the serving especially on the fried chicken wings.

Food was so delicious I started dancing in my seat! We had some mocktails, turkey legs, mac and cheese, greens, yams, sweet potato cornbread, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. Every bite made me so happy. Generous portions

Turkey leg 8/10 turkey was tender a little dry, Mac and cheese 6/10 I just don’t like sweet macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes 10/10, greens 1/10 tasted like mop water no cap I done had some good greens, they were left on the table. Whole experience was ok music was kinda loud could have been a better choice but I love to try new places, spent $170 family of 6 with 4 children.. Just go to sweety pies 10/10 we drive 4 hours away when visiting

This my first time eating at Ray’s and let me tell you that stuffed Cajun turkey leg OMG , I love it, the sweet potato cornbread is so good, now the greens I really wasn’t a fan of the greens, but all around, The place get a 10 - 10 from me, THANKS RAY FOR PROVIDING GREAT FOOD AND A GREAT ATMOSPHERE, I’m from the STL Area it’s worth the drive and money,

Pleasant, clean, very professional, good food but a little expensive for a chicken plate, and no potatoes or spaghetti which is odd

Ok so I gave 3 stars because I was left unsatisfied especially considering I asked to replace my spoiled greens with another side but was denied and still had to end up paying for it, they weren’t even taken off the bill even with talking to Ray himself! Highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior! So you make people eat things /pay for things they want to exchange by saying y’all don’t do it (as a black establishment) HORRIBLE!!!! As for the turkey with Cajun pasta very good seasoned to perfection but need whipping cream to not have the cheese clog your throat in the pasta (just saying) turkey leg was remarkable to say the least….. sweet potato cornbread (please try it )
As for as the service, it was ok what I didn’t like is the young lady stated they only take 18% gratuity even with me being unsatisfied she expected a large tip never once refilling our drinks during the hour of us being there !! I’m not going to say it was an all around bad but it some things that need fixed immediately !

The girls in the front are dignified and ingratiating, models of customer service. I got the ox tails, a soul food symbol. $41! When I open the box the portions were excellent. But tasting the ox tails was challenging. They were burnt, bitter, and dry. Can't imagine how you can do that to ox tails, that alone requires talent. Rather disappointing. You want our community to excel in entrepreneurship. Maybe they had a bad day or the wrong cook, but it was enough to consider other options when thinking about soul food.

I really enjoyed the mixed greens and sweet potato cornbread and the dressing was delicious we all enjoyed are meals catfish, meat loaf, candy yams, cajun pasta , smothered pork chops omgg most definitely will be coming back!

I am very impressed. i was very satisfied with my meal.it was plentiful! I was delighted. I had stuff turkey leg with Mac and cheese,superb I was leary first time having stuffed turkey legs 5 stars. portions were great my greens omg and the corn bread was delicious( I don't often due corn bread). my friend had chickens wings, he was a chicken to try something different. He was pleasantly surprised(he think he is a food critic) so we tasted a little bit of each other's food. Yams, i can write home to mom about. dressing ok(something else I don't eat) and peach cobbler yasss...I am happy. I will be back for the oxtails.

Customer service was great! But the food was VERY disappointing. The catfish is probably the only good thing I had. The baked macaroni tasted like they put sugar in it. And the greens were bitter and tasted grassy….no seasoning at all. It says that they’re cooked with turkey and cabbage…that’s a LIE. I didn’t enjoy my meal and I feel like I wasted my money because I literally threw it away.

The turkey leg stuffed with Mac and cheese was so good!!!! Definitely recommend going here!!!! Workers were really friendly also
