I’ve been a pretty frequent customer for 2 years. I had no issues until today. The rolls i ALWAYS get include the sweet potato roll & spicy crab roll. With the sweet potato roll- the sweet potato was not cooked through and it was raw in some of the sweet potato chunks. The spicy crab roll was VERY fishy and was very nauseating. I’ve never experienced that with any of the previous crab rolls. I couldn’t finish the first piece. At almost $30 a person, i expected better. Will not be going here anymore.

Got takeout. They sandwiched my sushi between an order of sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Hot sushi is vile. Red tuna was leaving a red stain on everything? White tuna was an off darkish beige color. Salmon was grainy and tasted like fish. Fish fish. Worst sushi ai location by far.

I made my order and still haven't got my food 35 minutes later Noone has came to see what's going on so I left which sucks because I drove 30 minutes to eat here and idk what to do now wasted my time and gas. False Advertising and Terrible Communication
I came here for the advertised $15 all-you-can-eat sushi deal only to find out it’s not available on Sundays. Nowhere on the website, menu, or signs does it say that! When I asked the server where it stated “not on Sundays,” she said she didn’t know. That’s false advertising, plain and simple. You can’t promote a deal and then change the rules whenever you want.
The food itself was decent, but the dishonest pricing completely ruined the experience. I won’t be coming back, and I’d warn others to double check before you order they’ll scam you too!

I have sat down in there twice and the first time I had a empty cup and I never saw my server again until it was time for the check so I wasn't able to get anything else to drink when I needed it. The second time I dined in I was rushed to pick out what I wanted. Like asked 3 times in 2 minutes if I was ready or order yet.

I have been frequently this place since they opened YEARS ago, in the last 3 years it has gone downhill drastically. The restaurant is filthy inside, waitress isn’t pleasant, and the ingredients never seem to be fresh anymore. The last few visits I ordered rolls with avocado and had to unroll them to wipe the brown mashed avocado off the roll. This place is in serious need of a deep cleaning, on both sides of the business.

TLDR: Don't go here. Food is not fresh. Service is awful. Wish I read the 1 star reviews and didn't give the establishment benefit of the doubt.
I went in with low expectations, considering it was a Midwest sushi buffet, but somehow, it was worse than what I imagined.
Tuna: Grey undertones and smell didn't match the color. Which was more concerning than it if smelled really fishy.
White tuna: brownish hue and it's orange
Salmon: smelly and warm
Didn't finish the food that was concerning, and the waitress argues with us, saying we have to finish it unless we want to be charged. Waitress never cleared our table and gave off a very annoyed demeanor. It felt like we weren't welcomed here.
Sushi ai hands down the best sushi place in the metro area it's my goal to eat at every one of them almost there

Normally we give the benefit of the doubt on the rolls since sushi is expensive… however sushi ai apparently likes to steal from paying customers. Usually you get rolls overloaded with rice and cream cheese after a round or two of sushi, again I understand. This time around, the first round the rolls were absolutely stuffed with cream cheese and rice. No avocado. The Nigiri tasted older than a can of tuna opened and left out in the sun of hell since 1999. Watery canned jalapeños on the sushi as well. Will never be back. This is stealing from people and false advertisement. Owners should be ashamed
Update: I fell sick with food poisoning from the nigiri I had. Tasted super old and sour, I spit it out but I guess that didn’t help.

Spacious seating, but the restaurant can fill up during the "All-You-Can-Eat" periods (lunch up to 3 pm, dinner after 3:30 pm) Great takeout service!! Easy ordering online as well. Fair and moderate prices for Super Fresh Custom Sushi and Specialty hand rolls!! 5 Stars (Shrimps?) ! ?????
Parking: Although there are quite a few popular businesses in this lot, parking is never an issue.
Kid-friendliness: A family style atmosphere, perfect for children.
