Missy is doing a great job...she took over 3 weeks ago...she's working on staffing, menu, getting card machine up & running...if you have ever been a manager...you know it's hard at first but she's working on the kinks....

This little place in the middle of nowhere will wow you with their food and service. I first came here about 8 months ago when i started my kentucky route. It brought me through here that early morning as my tummy was growling. I stopped in to grab some breakfast. OH MY they know how to do a breakfast!
My route time changed not too long after so i would be going by there around lunch time. This is when i discovered their burgers.
After eating their burgers with a side order of mushroom i knew i found my meal there. Their burgers are ? fresh. You can taste it. Perfect meat to bun ratio and the toppings are fresh as well. Mushrooms are always cooked perfectly.
Amazing friendly service in a small atmosphere. The only thing i would suggest is keeping more desserts on hand. Their food is so good your going to want some after.

Our meal was delicious. I had the hamburger steal w/ baked potato & mac & cheese. Husband had ham& beans and fresh sides. Wonderful home cooking and very reasonable prices. Waitress was on top of it and place was very clean.
Every once in a while you chance upon that gem while traveling through those back roads of America. It is not a Michelin star rated place but it is exactly as advertised: that cozy diner that the locals go for lunch. It is a very simple place. A bulletin board inside the doorway flutters with local ads for puppies and babysitting. Black and white photos on the wall commemorate Ma and Pa Jones and their start up enterprise. High chairs, linoleum tables worn with wiping, and a waitress who takes your order and calls you "baby"...all of these things told me I was in the right place for simple "real" food and I was right. It was a home cooked meal and tasted great. Tender ham & beans, fresh cucumber salad and pickled beets for me; french toast for the husband and a simple cheeseburger for the child. It was not fancy, but it was exactly what we wanted and the price was right.
