Drove over after Church for lunch today. I highly recommend Hoveys. Delicious food, fun, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

Heard great things about this place, so while in town, I decided to pop in and give it a try. I must admit I did have a bit of difficulty trying to figure out where to park. There is limited space along the road in front of the diner, but a space opened up, which was fortunate for me that I had my friend with me who was handicapped so we used the handicapped space to park. I did ask the gentleman who waited on us where people usually park, and he said the lot directly across the street was used for their establishment on a regular basis. So that problem was solved to my satisfaction. I do plan on returning to eat here again, so I needed to know. Now, to move on to the inside of the diner, finally. This is a relatively small diner, but there are still plenty of tables available for seating. The waiter was very nice and took our drink order and gave us a menu for us to decide what we would like to eat. The prices are about the same as most diners but not too expensive or detailed for a quick meal. The food was very good and the service was stellar. I was in a bit of a hurry and asked if it would be a very long wait, and they assured me I would get me food quickly. I did, and it was pretty good, I must say. My friend and I tried their cheeseburgers, and they were great. I do plan on returning when back in town to eat here again and maybe try a different sandwich. I would recommend that if you do plan on eating here that you park across the street. I found the place on a Google search and kind of wish that info was on the page. I am looking forward to returning sometime in the near future, and if you are in the mood for a diner-style meal, this place will not disappoint.
Parking: It's kind of confusing to have to park across the street, though i was told it is a free parking lot. It is along a busy road, so no fault of the diner, just logistics.

My order was fine, but my friend ordered the horseshoe, and it was horrible. It was a piece of grocery store white bread with a burger patty on top, absolutely smothered with soggy fries and nacho cheese sauce. Disgusting. The restaurant overall is good, but this item is horrendous.
