Don't go here expecting Buffalo food or expecting it to be like the Anchor Bar in Buffalo or any other wing place in Buffalo. The food at this location is hit-or-miss. The staff is great and they will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. But a lot of the food ranges from very tasty (loaded tots recommended) to just bad (for example, beef-on-weck pizza). The regular pepperoni pizza is fine. Expect to make several visits before you figure out what to eat, and what to avoid.

Our server Natalie was OUTSTANDING! This was top 5 service of all time. The place also had the Cubs game both on FS1 and Marquee network. Great plus to the ambiance of the establishment.
We ordered 2 beef on Weck and it came with a side of horseradish that looked freshly grated, a nice plus. The kimelweck roll was soft and complimented the beef. Au jus was flavorful and the side of wings were decent sized and well sauced. We ended up taking most of the wings home since we were full.
The beer menu had a good selection of styles and listed the next round of craft beers to be tapped. I would highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the area.

My first visit to Anchor Bar was NOT a good one, but my second, WAS FABULOUS!! Super friendly bartender (I wish I knew her name) DELICIOUS salad and wings. Overall a great time! Way to step it up Anchor Bar and provide service worth posting about!! So glad we gave it a second chance!!
