I can only say good things. The donuts are great and the staff are always friendly. The coffee is great too. I’d love to see an expansion on the coffee / cafe side.

We wanted to try this place since we heard so many good things about it but can’t really enjoy our doughnuts because the girl who took our order decided to pack all 12 doughnuts in a small box on top of one and other so the doughnuts were not enjoyable she literally smashed them on top of one and other. I’m not sure why she would pack 12 doughnuts in a small box.
I was between a 4 and a 5 here. It's not my favorite donut shop ever. I still think Donut Den in Joliet is superior. However, the donuts here were very good. An average price for 2 dollars a donut is a bit high in comparison to the market. But, there was good quality in each one. What I really really enjoyed was every flavor of the donut, wheither it was the cherry cake or the chocolate or the homer Simpson, was strong on that particular flavor. The other benefit, was that none of them where overly sweet. It was a refreshing change of pace. At 10 for 6 donuts, it's okay of a price, but still sucks that 10-12 bucks can't come close to buying you a dozen donuts.
That's why I'm eating this overall a 4 instead of a 5. Quality was nice, atmosphere was great. Wish the business super well but it isn't a once a week occurance here for me at that price. Donut Den in Joliet is still my number 1 favorite spot in Illinois for donuts.

I was just driving by when I spotted Lil Sister’s Donut Shop, and something told me to make a quick detour. I think I’ve had their donuts at work before (the kind that magically disappear from the breakroom), but this time I wanted to try it fresh from the source.
It’s a simple, no-frills donut shop—but the quality speaks for itself. I went with the classic chocolate Long John, and it did not disappoint. Fresh, tasty, and a definite step up from the chain donut scene.
Speaking of chains—prices are comparable to Dunkin’, but the quality is way better. Like, actually-tastes-like-a-real-donut better.
My only small gripe? I had to ask about the loyalty program instead of being offered it. And while the deal seems a little… mysterious (I think it’s something like buy 19, get a dozen?), I appreciate that there’s any loyalty program at all. At the very least, they reward consistency!
All in all, Lil Sister’s is a hidden gem worth checking out. Great donuts, solid prices, and a name that makes it sound like your little sibling started a bakery empire. I’ll definitely be back—probably sooner than I should be.

Great place to get fresh donuts. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Lots of our friends go to donuts shop.
So fresh and yummy!!!!
It was our first time stopping in—my kids and I loved everything about it. The donuts were fresh and delicious. The coffee was tasty and I had a free upgrade to large. 💃 The gentleman taking our order (three kids 6 and under making the donut decision) was patient. And the other gentleman was knowledgeable about the coffee process and was patient and kind, as well. We will definitely return!
Since moving to Oswego a year ago, this is our go to place! Our three year old calls it “The donut house.” Great service! They quality is consistent and delicious! Get the Boston, but save me one. They sell out fast! A true gem in our little town.
Great homemade donuts by some wonderful people. Keep up the great work.
