Apparently they are closed??? Ordered from DoorDash and they could not get in the building!!! Had problems getting my money back and went to the location to be greeted by locked doors unreal!!!! Don't waste your time or money.

I have been to this location about 10 times since they have opened. I absolutely love cold hoagie sandwiches and have given them the opportunity to live up to their so called reputation.I have tried a few sandwiches and they have a really weird, almost sick taste. I’m not sure if it’s the onions or seasoning ,but it’s just kind of icky all the time. I feel like throwing up because of the spices and onions.The fries are decent but way overpriced and there is no normal size order for 1 person .You can’t walk out of there with fries and a sandwich for a decent price.$20 +I am confident they can do better and I really wish to adjust my review.

My husband & I were driving by & the word "Hoagy" caught our attention. Sooooo glad we stopped in. Jazz welcomed us through the door, educated us on on thier menu & kept it entertaining from start to finish. The food was EXCELLENT & presented with pride. The dining environment was clean & modern with a couple of TVs abt. Overall, it was a outstanding! AMAZING people (Jazz), great environment, clean, affordable & scrumptious food.

Not even close. I drove from Chicago since HOH was closed. This place has worse service than the original and the food isn't close at all. Frozen fries, stale bread on hoagies, too much gristle on the steak sandwich, sauce doesn't taste like HOH and 0 customer service. This name has become synonymous with bad service and iffy food at all locations for way too much money.

This place has no respect for their customers. This is my 5th time ordering food and the restaurant is closed when I arrive. No one calls and say anything when the place is closed.the answering service says the place open but when you arrive no one is inside the Resturant. Highly disappointed since they wowed me months ago. It's been a bad experience after another. Why take orders if no one is at the restaurant. Never again ordering on DoorDash or their website. If I catch it open by chance I'll order then.

We love this place. Service by Jazz was great We had sticky fries, mild sweet steak (petite size is plenty) and Italian beef sandwiches. Topped it off with the most delicious chocolate cupcake in the world. Super place can't wait to try more from their menu give it a try great comfort food

Wow! My husband stopped in first time today. Got me the Chicago Steak Sweet. LOVED the sauce ( mild). I usually do not finish sandwiches but ate the entire sandwich. Meat was so tender. Hubbie got the Steak Italiano. He loved it. The owner gave him the hot Giardinera. Nice heat! This is our first time and will not be the last. Cannot wait to try the many different items on their menu. Great food !

If u don't know home of the hoagy is a south side staple that's been dishing out the best steak sandwich for years. It's like a Philly with the special in house mild sauce. I was beyond shocked how nice the establishment was and how friendly the staff was. The menu is loaded with options and Robert was very helpful and polite. The food is very flavorful and was made to order fresh not reheated. TVs everywhere to watch the game and food on point. If your not on a diet then u will love every menu item here lol definitely will be coming back to check them out whenever I'm in the area.

This was my first time here. The steak sandwich was cold, hardly any meat for the price charged and the taste was very bland, except for the overpowering BBQ sauce that they market as Chicago sweet sauce.I was going to try a hoagy the next time, but for the prices vs the taste, I'll just drive out to Chicago and get the real stuff.I hope someone turns things around soon, because I want impressed at all on the food, the flavor, the quality, the portion, and especially the high prices for what they sell.Good luck, I hope you're able to improve.
I have found a place with GREAT food, GREAT menu, GREAT prices! I’ve also learned that there is a giving and loving family history AND recipes! I’m excited to try everything on the menu! Their attention to detail shows in everything, down to the fresh cut French fry’s, That’s right folks, they cut the ends off the potatoes so there are no short fry bits! I would put their fry’s and hotdogs up against any in Chicagoland. Don’t take my word for it, try for yourself. Really… but not to many of you, I don’t want to have to wait in long lines. For my hotdogs, fry’s and of course Hoagy’s plus so much more, this IS my place now!BONUS! Leah has a bakery she runs out of this location! I’ve tried the baked goods… AWESOME!Robert and Leah create delicious food and baked goods. They are also community driven. Thanksgiving gave them the opportunity to feed those in need.When you go here you are family! When they are not to busy they will check on you. Jazz (cashier) came out twice to see we were happy and had everything we needed. I really felt the family history here.If you see me there, say Hi! Excellent menu choices... a lot to choose from. Try the poutine, it's really delicious. Had the pulled pork poutine this round. Delicious and a very generous portion. Will have to stop more often. Service very friendly, drive through as well as inside dining. Can't recommend enough!

I highly recommend RV's Home of the Hoagy!! I was delighted by the excellent salad selection on the menu, and my family enjoyed the beyond beef sandwich and chicken strips!

Order 15 wings got home and only received 12 wings. Call up there to inform them of the mistake. Person on the phone says we have them here and you can come back. I said not today and they hung up.You would think they will at least take my name. To make things right on my next visit.

The physical place was nice and clean. The dining room is roomie and spacious. Lots of tv's but I don't think the owners pay enough for the bandwidth to host those tvs. The tvs freeze every five seconds. The chicken sandwiches mixes thigh and white meat. So if you are a person who only wants white meat this isn't a place for you. I ordered wings for $15 it was a lot for just five pieces. They presented it with the sauce on the side. Kind of a let down cause wings taste better when they're smothered. The fries were soggy and oily. It was nothing special. The service was great tho. The front people were helpful and very knowledgeable of the food items. But you can tell they scrimp on quality to save some money.
