Bought a slice of red velvet from jj fish in South Holland cake was dry and not enough icing

Bought a lemon cake from a local Sharks. When I say little to no icing on it. Every time I buy their cakes lately I’ve been disappointed. Its like they were trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel to put this one together

Purchased from hotties in Crestwood/alsip. “Peach cobbler” was literally just canned peaches in heavy syrup with a small piece of crust on top.

I ordered a piece of lemon cake from JJ Fish and the label was that of Silver Fox Pastries. The cake was SOOOO soft. It melted in my mouth. I can't wait to have another piece!

I bought a slice of their Coconut Cake and it was perfect! It had the right amount of frosting. It wasn’t too much or too thick. It was just right. The cake was so moist. I have plans to get my birthday cake from them…a whole Coconut Cake.

Stingy on the cake icing,cake batter too thick and dry, I tried the red velvet and Double Chocolate Cake and Butter cookies, I will not be trying anymore.

I originally bought a piece of Lemon/Lemon Icing Cake and Pound Cake from Sharks on 95th and Jeffrey and the cake was so good I decided to call Silver Fox Bakery and order 3 whole pound cakes 2 Plain and 1 Lemon...I didn't know if they would be as good as the individual slices...but I went out on a limb and called and placed a order for 3 whole cakes on yesterday 12/20/23 for my Mom's 70th Birthday gathering.....they came right out of the oven PIPING HOT AND SMELLING MY WHOLE CAR UP WITH BAKED GOODNESS.....when I tell you that we had about 35 to 40 guests who asked me where I got the cake from...and even the older women in my family said that it tasted like a Black Grandma's pound cake!!! Now that's respect no shade...I had to leave this review because I couldn't let it be said that they were horrible as the other reviews stated...because I would've missed out on some of the best cake I've tasted in YEARS!!!!! they've just added a NEW REPEAT CUSTOMER
