I was really excited to try Cakenbake, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing dessert experiences I’ve had. We ordered the three fake fruit desserts the apple, cherry, and mango. Somehow all three tasted exactly the same. There was zero fruit flavor at all. None of them tasted like apple, cherry, or mango just a generic, overly sweet cheese filling.
The texture was also misleading. It definitely wasn’t mousse like advertised. It tasted straight-up like sweetened cream cheese. Then we tried the cheesecake bites… and somehow they tasted *exactly the same* as the fake fruit fillings. No difference in flavor, just the same sugary, bland cheese cream.
What made it even worse was that it was both **too sweet and completely flavorless at the same time**. I genuinely don’t know how that’s possible, but that’s exactly how it tasted. just sugar without any real depth or actual dessert flavor.
For the price and the hype, this was a huge letdown. Everything tasted identical, artificial, and flat. Definitely would not recommend.

We bought several of the fruit mousses for my daughters birthday. The mango one is by far the best and is absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the lemon and pineapple ones.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful new dessert place! They offer stunning fruit mousse cakes that are light and flavorful, rich and creamy cheesecakes, and delicate macarons with great texture. Everything looked elegant and tasted fresh. You can tell a lot of care goes into their desserts. Definitely worth checking out!

The desserts look nice on social media, so we made a large purchase of 8-10 small desserts to try. Most of it tastes like candle wax and disappointment. The place was cute but the cashier was VERY snarky, especially when it came to answering simple questions, almost as if he didn’t care whether we made a purchase or not. For their staff to speak to customers the way they do, the dessert is not worth it whatsoever.
Stopped in after hearing about this place on social media. The customer service was great and the assortment of pastries we bought were delicious and looked as good as they tasted. Will definitely be back!
