My boyfriend and I just found the cutest little breakfast gem tucked into a small plaza, and I genuinely wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

From the outside, it doesn’t look like much — super easy to miss — but don’t let that fool you. The inside is small and cozy in the best way, and our waiter was SO kind and welcoming. You can instantly tell it’s a small business that truly cares.

We ordered the Spartan Omelette, European Crepes, and the Banana Strawberry & Blueberry Pancakes… and I’m not exaggerating when I say everything was insanely good.

The Spartan Omelette tasted completely homemade — flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn’t salty at all, which made it even better. Our waiter mentioned they don’t even add salt to it, and that honestly says everything. The flavor stands completely on its own.

The European crepes were unbelievably soft and fluffy — they practically melted and fell apart in your mouth. And the pancakes? So fluffy that they literally fall apart when you cut into them. But the BEST part? Nothing was overly sweet like those big breakfast chains. It tasted like a real, homemade breakfast — not sugar-loaded or artificial.

We actually went to Honey Berry Pancake Cafe the day before, which looks super nice and trendy, but the food wasn’t even close. It had barely any flavor, the pancakes were overly sweet, and we left feeling bloated and honestly kind of disgusted. This place was the complete opposite. We left satisfied but not heavy or gross — just happy.

It’s so hard to even put into words how good it was. We found it by looking online at photos (which were completely accurate, by the way), and I’m SO glad we did. We’re definitely coming back and honestly might make this our new Saturday morning tradition.

If you’re debating whether to try it — go. You will not regret it.

I want to write this review because not only did the owner make us feel like at home, but super welcomed. She was so kind and attentive. The food was soooo delicious so much flavor we been looking for a good breakfast spot near us and I think we found it. We really enjoyed our food everything was great from entering to leaving. I’ve come here a couple times before. The food is always delicious. Most recently I got the southwest chicken sandwich. The chicken wasn’t dry at all and you could tell everything was fresh. The service is amazing, they remember your face and treat you like family.

Really good food and friendly stuff

We used to come here a few times, but stopped after we were no longer allowed to bring our small dog and let him sit on the chair as a service dog. You told that the rules in Illinois had changed.

Since then, we go to Denny’s instead. They don’t even ask whether the dog is a service animal, and he’s allowed to sit on the booth seat there. Even though we live closer to your place, we now walk an extra 5 minutes to Denny’s 2–3 times a week — always, even when we don’t have the dog with us.

My wife has been yearning for crepes, but no breakfast spot in our area was appeasing her high standards of a decadent thin crepe. She mentioned this spot had 4.8 stars but was a 20 min drive from our house. I pushed to go here because I was hopeful that the crepes would satisfy what she had been searching for and what do you know. The crepes were perfect. We got the apple cinnamon crepes and they were bomb. They main thing was that the crepes themselves held up to her standards. The staff here was awesome. Did not know who our waitress was because they all kinda run around and tag team everything but it really seems to work well.

Hidden gem in my Palos community. Food is very good and comforting. Family oriented and great service. My favorite place to go to.
