Easily the best lamb I've ever had. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere and the personal touch make this place special. I can't believe that I didnt hear about it before. I had to go back and get meals for the entire family after they tasted it. This place will be a new go to for us. Great job Old School, you definitely live up to the name!

Far outside Chicago in the suburbs was this hidden gem- the succulent and unique stuffed lamb neck was perfect- as soon as you open the food it is so fragrant! Meat is so juicy and tender and all the trimmings have elements of sweet, spicy, citrus and savory with thicc yogurt.

It’s not often that you find a truly authentic middle eastern restaurant serving homestyle cuisine, but this restaurant is exactly that. The food is absolutely incredible and tastes like it was homemade. I had the mensaf and the serving size was enormous and the taste was purely authentic and delicious. I will recommend this place to anyone that wants to have authentic middle eastern cuisine.

This place makes amazing food. It's not like a traditional restaurant where you show up and order whatever you want. They make their meat starting in the morning and sell off whatever they have and if they run out they're done. (I didn't know this when coming) We showed up a bit after 7pm on a Wednesday and they told me that they only had half chicken on rice left. Feeling a little disappointed we still accepted it and it was so good it should be illegal drugs 😆. Don't forget to get some of their hot sauce. It's a good flavorful spice. It is spicy but reasonable and with a lot it'll creep up on you. Remember to eat it as fresh as possible too! The staff was super nice and friendly to explain everything. We want to come back to try the other meats.
