This stop was what we were looking for on our Motorcycle trip. I had the liver n onions & my wife had the fried chicken, it took a little while to get it but we were fine with that because we needed a break. The service was great and the food was very much like I was at home. Thank you from 2 NC hungry travelers.

Took my son for his 1st time at this iconic place. Pork chops and steak n eggs were great. Shared a cream puff for dessert. Staff/owner spent time chatting about history

I didn't stay in the motel, because I have a sleeper on my truck. But the Cafe was outstanding. And the location was perfect, because I needed somewhere to park for the night and there it was as if by magic.
