Been here many times it seems hit or miss, brisket and pulled pork are good, once in a while it will be dry, links and turkey also decent except when the turkey is dry. The chicken when it’s right is off the hook, but most of the time it’s like shoe leather. Seems they have a problem with consistency, don’t bother tipping either as the owner takes them and doesn’t share with the staff, I’ve known a few people that have worked there, they all said the owner doesn’t share the tips. Which ironically is illegal in the state of Illinois. Tips belong to the employee that it was given to, supervisors, managers and owners are not permitted by law to participate in tips! It’s a shame too because I always order for a family and easily drop a hundred bucks for a family dinner and all the fixings.

Today was our first time here. We rode 235 miles to meet with the fellas from Kentucky. The food was delicious, the staff was terrific and we enjoyed our visit. Keep up the good work.

I was traveling through and happened upon Bubba's. I'm a sucker for good barbecue and this place didn't disappoint. I got takeout based on the owner's recommendations. Ordered the 3 meat sampler. Brisket and pork loin were very good, but the turkey was absolute perfection! They threw in some piggie puffs since it was my first time. Really good!!! I'll be eating on this meal for 2 days! Very highly recommend!!!

This place is wonderful. Best barbecue in town miles around. I recommend the 3 meat platter with brisket, smoked turkey, and pulled pork, I love the sweet BBQ sauce. Can’t forget the smoked baked beans.🙋🏻♀️🍽

Hand down the worst BBQ i have ever had! I didn't even know that you could classify boiled meat as brisket.
We heard about Bubba Lubba while attending a hockey game in Danville. made the drive over from Crawfordsville Indiana. Everything we ordered was very very delicious. we would definitely recommend and we will go back.
