I saw all the positive reviews so i stopped in. I really wanted to like this place. I ordered over the phone and was quoted a price 2 dollars cheaper than when I got there. She charged me for bbq sauce and extra for brisket. The Pulled Pork is borderline disgusting. It is the worst bbq pork I have ever had. The Brisket was ok, but slightly burnt and very dry. The Barbecue sauce is easily hands down the worst I have ever had. It honestly tastes like someone took brown sugar, burned it, and doused it in honey and Ketchup and called it good. I won't be back. I wish I would have bought a tv dinner and drowned it in sweet baby rays instead. Maybe they just had an off night! A REALLY OFF NIGHT!!!

Great smoked BBQ ! Highly recommend the brisket, reminds me of Texas.
I've only been once, had pork sandwich. Mac-n-cheese, and baked beans. Would have no problem going back to try pretty much anything on the menu, as I'm sure it will also be good. I'm just having a problem justifying spending over $20 for it.

Absolutely phenomenal! We had the haystack Sammy and the prime rib sandwich...both were so delicious! Cornbread and smoked green beans were excellent as well!
We went here because it was on the 2023 fork in the road card. We have enjoyed going and exploring different restaurants around the Wabash Valley. This one was just okay. Food was pretty good but not anything super special. The pulled pork was pretty dry. I wish it had more of the juices on it to sink into the buns. The mac and cheese was good. Pretty comparable to stoffers Mac and cheese which I like. The jalepeno poppers were good. I just thought the jalepenos were so think that it was hard to take a clean bite out of it. The Hillybilly Deluxe was our favorite. It was a special that night. It was mash potatoes, Mac and cheese and pulled pork stacked on top of eachother. If you are nearby, I think it would be somewhere good to eat but don't think it's worth the drive from Terre Haute. Overall service was good and nice. There was one girl working there who wasn't the nicest at one time. It is a pretty small place with a hometown feel.

Two of us decided to stop here on the way to Kansas City and both of us thought it was the best BBQ we've ever had. Well worth the short detour from the interstate. Everything was juicy and full of flavor. Service was super friendly. The pitmaster/chef (Bubba Lubba?) seems to love what he does and takes pride in his work. I hope we have an opportunity to go back one day!

First time visiting and will not be the last. The meals are generous, the place is so clean and the staff are all friendly. We enjoyed everything and I even put in an order to take home for my husband and he was just as impressed. Can't wait to go back, YUMMY!
