I love Monicals, but I hate paying $50 for a pizza and then it being soggy upon delivery. Most Monicals use boxes to deliver pizza. Mine arrived in a bag wrapped in aluminum foil. So the steam makes the crust extremely soggy. Monicals should be crunchy thin. That being said the ingredients are always fresh. And the staff is nice. The pizza isn’t soggy if you eat in restaurant.

Absolutely the worst service ever, better of going to Joes or Savoia’s. Been in here twice for pizza. First time the guy seemed like he didn’t want to be there, the second time the same guy said we will be right with you while he continued talking to another worker while someone from the back came to help out. I’ll won’t be back.

Really love monicals especially since they have gluten free options but this is not the monicals to go to if you want quality gluten free. The cheese bread has been the incorrect dough multiple times and the person cutting my pizza was on their cell phone and never washed their hands before handling the pizza. The pizza was also very underdone.

I gave two stars because your gluten free pizza is never cooked. The bottom of the dough is completely raw. It’s because you cook it in aluminum foil. It has to be cooked on the grill or on a steel pan. Aluminum foil does not get hot. It’s designed to not get hot. So you can’t cook anything in aluminum foil unless it has hot Flames licking at it. Won’t ever buy a gluten free Pizza or any pizza from you again until you learn how to cook pizza.

Called in an order at 6pm they said it would take 1 hour ok sure at 8pm the food was finally delivered. I called the store to find out why it was taking so long the person on the phone informed me he was taking three orders by the time the food arrived it was all but cold. So done with Monica’s pizza

This was one of the best places I've been too since being in Illinois (been here 3 years now). First time leaving a review ever and it's totally deserved. The monkey bites looked way better than the photo and tasted amazing, I almost ordered a second plate of them. Haven't had good pizza since I moved here and now I'm stumped since this is far from where I live but would gladly make the trip during a 3 day weekend.
Just your typical small-town pizza joint. Service is good. Food is good, the parking is good.

Very nice atmosphere in this place. However, we got totally overlooked, and waitresses after taking our order has completely forgotten about it. We were waiting on our order for almost 40 mins, while other customers got in and out. As waitress brought our order, she never apologized for the delay, the pizza bowl that I ordered was missing chicken, but I couldn't even address the issue because the waitress was busy elsewhere.. Food tasted very basic. So if you want to come in for the atmosphere- do so! But if you come for food and service - I do not recommend the place.
