Delicious food and good prices, unfortunately the service is so poor that it drops this review to a 3 stars.

Very good place to eat. To bad they don't have wifi, because your downstairs and your phone does not work. But! The food is excellant.

Hands-down, this is the worst breakfast I’ve ever had! We got there a little after seven, our waitress was over 80 years old. She was all alone. She had to cook for seven people plus take the orders. I watched her in the kitchen from a distance I could see her opening and closing a microwave. All of our food was cooked in a microwave. It had no taste at all the toast was totally burnt, and it was just unreal! The stone walls are beautiful the ceiling is beautiful the tables and the chairs are from the 70s and it’s frumpy in the center decor20 minutes after the place is open finally to other staff member showed up.. That was money down the drain, we barely ate the awful food.

A delightful, affordable, hidden gem. The portions were perfect and tasted homemade. The service was top notch and the atmosphere one of a kind. Such a splendid place!

I didn't like the service whatsoever! I ordered corned beef hash with my breakfast, and a side of diced tomatoes. The waitress comes back with a slice of a tomato, and claimed that the cook was too busy to dice me some up. I told her that I didn't want a slice of a tomato, because I asked for diced tomatoes instead. She leaves the slices tomato on my table as if I have no choice but to eventually eat it or something. She came back to my table after a while and explained that the cook was cooking for a group of people, as if he didn't just make my breakfast to order a few minutes prior! Then she said she'd cut it up for me to which I declined. I explained to her that I like my tomatoes diced because I put them on my corned beef hash that way - ever since I was a little girl and that's how I like it.I am a paying customer, therefore, dice me a tomato like I requested - it wasn't a scientific experiment!Furthermore, I should've have to explain to any waitstaff why I ordered diced tomatoes, because I never do that anywhere else! I felt compelled to explain to her because she just wasn't getting it.I swear I'm NEVER coming back to this hole in the wall ever again!
Nice place, kinda hidden with being in the basement. Food was good and service was good.
This place is not a hole in the wall, it's a hole in the ground. And it's fantastic. Food is so delicious, oj tasted like freshly squeezed, coffee is on point (caffeine addict), and staff was so nice and thoughtful. If you can, please give this place a go or you'll be missing out.
