If you like Mexican food, don’t eat here. I know it’s fusion, but the flavors didn’t fuse well at all. Everything was either way too sweet (like the salsa and barbecue sauce) or way too sour (like the salsa verde). The complex and balanced flavors I love in Mexican cuisine weren’t present at all. Instead, there’s barbecue sauce. The service was great but we couldn’t eat the food and ended up leaving to get Taco Bell, which was better than this. Sorry, but it’s not good.

Stood there for a few mins, finally greeted by the bartender. Told to sit wherever and someone will be with us to get our orders.
Had to find our own menus to look at options. 20 mins passed as we waited with a waitress walking past us multiple times with zero acknowledgement.
Finally got up, walked the menus back to the bar and left for another restaurant.
Very disappointed

I had a great experience here, the waitresses were awesome. I had the Chicken Tostado Nachos, which were very good. Cheese was delicious. Chicken cooked perfectly but just a little bland. 8.5/10. I had 4 tacos. Quesabirria Taco, which was subpar. Lacking of flavor but cheese was tasty. Taco by itself 5/10 But the Consome was so delicious best I've ever had 10/10. Tso Good taco. Delicious, nice, and fresh. The coleslaw and Sriracha Aioli on it was amazing chicken cooked to perfection. 9/10. The Southwest clicker is very tasty. Same thing, Sauce and Coleslaw amazing. 8.5/10 Last but not least, sweet Caroline taco. Pork was very bland, but the sauce and the crispy onions were flavorful. 6.5/10. Shout out to the Chefs/Cooks in the back. Presentation Game 10/10 Sauce game 10/10 Food Game 8.5/10, Price Game 8.5/10. I will come back again!!!

Cayenne's food is very good. I had chips & salsa, 2 pulled pork tacos & a Margarita. All were great! It's casual, no need to dress up. Outdoor seating is available.

We ate here on a holiday weekend and they only had one waitress who was also bartending. There were over 8+ different parties present and the waitress could not keep up (not her fault). She did a great job all things considered, but it seems incredibly unfair to her and unacceptable to put this kind of strain on a worker. I love this restaurant, but this makes me not want to support the establishment.

Love this place so much, can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. Great margaritas, I highly suggest the churros and street corn. Tacos are always delicious too. One of our favorite summer spots to sit outside and have a few drinks!

My husband and I came here for the first time tonight and loved it! It looked good from the pictures, but we were even more impressed after going. The food was delicious! I got a Carolina taco & Birriataco, he got a Mardi Gras and a Birriataco too. The fiesta side salad was SO good, and their margaritas were great! We'll definitely be back!

Food was amazing, I had the chicken chimichanga and my wife had the 2 tacos & side. They have non traditional tacos along with the classic. Great staff and service, check it out!

We normally love Cayenne, their food is great. But we were there for a friend’s birthday party last night, there was 8 of us, we sat there for 2 hours waiting for our food. It was unacceptable. I understand staffing issues-I worked in the restaurant business for years, but 2 hours? This was on top of the hour it took us to even get drinks and order. We paid our drink tab and left before we ate. Was super disappointing

We walked in at 2PM on a Sunday and stood at the hostess stand for five min waiting to be seated. Hostess finally came out and hurried us to a table, took our order and left. After about 15-20 min we were wondering where the chips and salsa (that you have to pay for btw) were. Hostess came walking by eating food, almost surprised to see us sitting there, and we asked if she could bring our salsa and Queso out we ordered. She sighed and told us she’d get our server, like we were inconveniencing her. They forgot we were there obviously. The hostess came back and threw our chips and salsa on the table, leaned down close to us and told us very snottily “have a nice day”. Not sure how this lady has a job especially in the serving industry. Come to find out later from our actual server she’s the manager of the place. The food was not good enough for that kind of service. Will not be back.

Stopped in on a whim after walking the strip of stores. No one up front to greet, then when the girl came out she just kinda waved at us and said sit wherever. So we chose a table, that ended up being dirty. When asked to wipe it off she seemed like she had an attitude, and let out a big sigh when she walked away. The menus also had food and old finger prints all over them. I asked my S/o to leave but they didn’t want to be difficult. The food was less than stellar, the queso was a dark orange color and tasted like melted velveeta. We ordered 2 tacos which we didn’t finish due to no seasoning - it was the most flavorless taco I’ve ever bit into. My S/o said it tasted like nursing home food. We also ordered the brisket burrito which was acceptable, the red sauce really takes over. All the brisket was on one end so I had to open the burrito up to spread it out. I really wanted to like this place. Charging $10 for chips and salsa is crazy work though when we can better food, service, and free chips and salsa elsewhere.

My wife and I showed up at 5 pm on Saturday 4/20. We didn't have reservations but there were two tables left, so we got one. We saw a minimum of 10 tables get turned away because they were booked. Definitely recommend reservations if you want a table. I had the steak quesadilla and it was fabulous. Our server that night was also the bartender. She was very busy but we never felt like we were ignored. Highly recommend!

First visit to Cayenne for a weekday lunch. I loved all the different choices for tacos. My favorite was the sweet Caroline taco. The pulled pork was amazing. My husband's favorite was the shrimp tacos. We both enjoyed the $15 combo. 2 tacos and 1 side. The street corn was FANTASTIC! We love trying different street corn. This one is one of our favorites.Love the food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
