My first time here and was beyond disappointed. I had heard good things and was excited about dining here. Needless to say it will be my last time. It was the most awful service I have ever received!!! My server was new or never had served before because they were absolutely clueless about everything. I've gotten better service at MacDonalds. You would think with the prices this place has they would do a better a job screening people before they hire them. Seriously please whoever is in charge you need to have better service and training.

A classy Italian restaurant with a bar to accommodate both casual and upscale meals. It's more expensive than most restaurants in the area.The food was okay. I went with a group and most of us ordered the special that day - 5 layer lasagna, with a broccoli beer cheese soup. The soup was good, but low on broccoli. The lasagna was a very large portion, but unexpectedly dry. The starter bread and butter were very good.The service was good. Our waitress was kind and patient. But, she didn't know the prices of the specials of the day when we asked.Overall, it's a nice restaurant, but not worth the price.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available.Parking: Only street parking avaliable down Peoria Heights.

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Every single time I come here everything is wonderful. The calamari, the scallops and the tiramisu are all must try's! Can't wait to go back and try the salmon and the lobster ravioli!

For someone who has tried authentic Italian food, Joe's is very close to American. Italian dishes with American flavors. We ordered Spaghetti and meatballs and a Chicken Parmesan. The tomato sauce was heavy, acidic, and on the sweeter side. The meatballs were a disappointment. They were fatty and tasted slightly bitter. The Chicken Parmesan was okay, but not very flavorful. The 3 stars are for the good service and nice ambience but for the high price range, it wasn't worth it.

Great service, good food. They did a wonderful job taking care of a number of larger parties who all came at the same time. They were extremely friendly and prompt.

All in all... not good. My husband ordered the moscacolli... it was a bowl full of noodles, not much sauce. His meatball very bland. I ordered the chicken picatta with extra capers..... overload on the capers. Cream sauce was like broth. Lobster bisque was fishy tasty... We were very disappointment... Our waitress Alexa, was the bright spot of our meal. .

The outdoor seating has a few "street tables" and is boxed in a well-decorated area.OVERALL: The place has a modern Italian theme with newly renovated restrooms. A private booth seating area, three private party areas, and a bar with high-top tables exist.SERVICE: Service is exceptional, and the servers are always friendly and attentive. Food is typically served in a timely and pleasing manner.IS IT CLEAN? Yes, the floors and tables are consistently clean even when busy. The restrooms are clean and always seem to be stocked.COST: Cost is pretty good, and most items are priced well for the amount you get.FOOD: GREAT! Food is freshly made, presented well, and has many unique flavors. There are always specials and a nice variety between pasta, steak, fish, and any mix of the three.DIETARY RESTRICTIONS? They can accommodate almost anything as long as the patron expresses their restrictions.Parking: Main parking is in the back; however, there is some street parking available.

If you love Italian, you won't regret trying Joe's out. Cozy atmosphere and a large menu of Italian fare. Service is friendly and attentive. It's a solid pick so the way around.Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes have some type of protein, however there are a few appetizer and entree options without, and of course any pasta dish can be made meat free.
