Stopped by here on our way back to Missouri from Rend Lake. Food tasted fantastic, but the wait was a little ridiculous. Evidently they had a party of 25 come in before us and we had to wait for about an hour from when we got there to getting anything to eat. Communication between the staff was pretty rough also. We ordered fish and then overheard another waitress telling someone they were out of fish. We then stopped a waiter and asked and he said the same, but our waitress did not know. Felt like they were running around all over the place and missing tables. Also got my order wrong, I ordered baked beans and I got a baked potato. All in all, even though we had a super long wait for everything, the food tasted great!

Arrived. Just 2 of us. Seated. Hostess Told us someone would be with us soon. Place was not busy( i have been in there when its busy). In the mean time two large tables of guests get seated and served. We are still sitting with menus in hand for 20 minutes and not even a drink order put in. I watched a server (which i believe should of been our server because of the location of our table) take another tables order, put it in the computer, stand behind the partition and proceed to get himself a drink, drink said drink, then stay behind partition and looks like wrapping stuff up with plastic wrap all while we were ignored). Got up turned our menus into the hostess and patronized another restaurant.

Just finished our meal of grilled pork chops and rib-eye. The best, I mean the best food we had in a very long time. The rib-eye just melted in your mouth. The most tender rib-eye I had ever had. My Mom who is very picky. Loved her grilled porkchop. She could not stop eating it. First time, in a long time, no complains from my Mom about her food.I would highly recommend this restaurant.Thank you for an outstanding meal.
