My first trip to Big Apple has now become a regular night out for dining! Such a great menu, and at a price that won't break the bank. When you can enjoy an entrée, main course and dessert for 4, that would've cost that much for 2 anywhere else, that alone made it worth it.

I had an excellent dinner at The Big Apple Restaurant in Peru, IL and it was worth the drive! I ordered a large broiled ribeye cooked medium with mushrooms, and it was perfect — juicy, tender, and seasoned exactly right. Easily one of the best ribeyes I’ve had anywhere.
The fresh Greek salad was a meal by itself — loaded with fresh onion, green peppers, tomato, egg, olives, and feta as though it came right from a Greek kitchen. The baked potato was hot and fluffy with butter and sour cream, and the three onion rings were big, crispy, and delicious. Even with just water to drink, the whole meal came together beautifully.
Service was fast, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and family-friendly — busy, but comfortably so. Pricing was fair, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.
I’ll definitely be coming back — absolutely worth the drive. Highly recommended

I had the steak at Big Apple Restaurant and it was absolutely perfect. Tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. The service was fast and friendly, and the whole place has a welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!

This is my second time coming here and I'm beyond disappointed, the waitress was beyond rude. She was snatching food and her attitude was just disgusting. My fiance tried to grab his soup from her to see if down and she snatched it back and it spilled.. If it wasn't for the plate we both would have been wearing the extremely hot soup. Then when our food finally came she was serving my son and I tried to grab his plate so I could position it properly since they brought his food out on more than one plate and she literally snatched it back from my hand and caught and attitude with me. Top it off she brought out one of those little silver things filled with maple syrup and handed it to my son instead of an adult and was wearing if because of that. She was just over all really rude and her behavior was gross. Wish I never tipped she didn't deserve it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ribs were the special and I wouldn't have fed them to my dog. Looked disgusting and tasted even worse. Also found hair in the pasta dish we ordered. Will NEVER return again.
